I don't know why, but this idea occurred to me...

What if during the ceremony that Aizen used to hypnotize all the captains and vice captains, someone blinked, or looked away.

I mean it would look rather stupid for one person to look around and say "Just what the hell are you doing?"

As far as the idea above this one, I think it would kill Ichigo's memories, which would make for a rather sad story since, he would go about as a shinigami probably get brought back to Soul Society instead of an execution seeing as he would be useful.

It would make more sense for that to be a crime as missing people would be hard to hide.

The thing is everyone is Soul Society was effected. Or at least everyone who saw the fake corpse. That would include people from divsions that weren't even seated. Aizen found ways to expeose everyone to his shikai's unsealing.

What if Hitsugaya were the son of Gin and Matsumoto, would this change anything and how would Hitsugaya when he finds out?

This was mainly brought about by someone here commented on how Hitsugaya and Gin look somewhat similar and that Matsumoto much like her captain possessing green eyes.

Another idea that came to me but what if Ichigo realizing that he's going to need help if he wants a realistic chance of rescuing Orihime and Yamamoto not willing to help goes to the only person he can trust to do so without hidden motives... Kenpachi.

I can almost see Kenpachi charging for his services.

Kenpachi: After I do this shit, we have another two fights to the death.

Ichigo: Won't fighting all those Arrancar be enough for you? And why two?

Kenpachi: Fuck no! Arrancar are just a buncha Hollow wussies with extra shit on top. And two fights to the death cuz I'm gonna win the next one and we put all this shit on the line for the last one!

I don't know, the chance to face Aizen would certainly be enough for him given how he kept going on how powerful he was. :p Though I do have to wonder how he'll react when he meets Grimmjow who seems to be pretty much a Hollow version of himself.

He'd give Ichigo a refund. He'd also get beat into the ground. That is assuming he take Ichigo's opponents. If he takes Renji's or Rukia's opponents then he'll wipe the floor with them.

The fact is that most of the espada are out of his league.

True, he is ungodly powerful, compared to the standard captain. However, only a vizard would really be able to stand up to a high level arrancar.

I disagree. Kenpachi would be able to hold his own even against high level Espada. He has the most raw power of any shinigami. Period. If Ichigo can fight Grimjaw with bankai and not be overwhelmed. Kenpachi can do the same with his eyepatch off. Maybe even better. Ichigo's bankai only increases his speed. His sword doesn't become any sharper and his strength doesn't go up. So while Tensa Zangetsu couldn't cut Grimjaw without using the Getsuga, it is quite likely that Kenpachi's unnamed blade can. Kenpachi is also far more skilled at zanjutsu than Ichigo is.

Actually his Bankai compresses his energy, so though his strength doesn't increase, the potency of his Reiatsu does. Which is what makes a Kuroi Getsuga so much stronger than Getsuga Tenshou. It's much like how much stronger Naruto's Kyuubi chakra is than his regular kind, because Kyuubi's chakra is much more potent than his normal reserves, thus allowing him to do more with the same ammount.

Also while Kenpachi would be able to face the lesser espada, probably 7-10 though I'm not sure, going higher would pretty much toast him without a Shikai. Though once he gets that, he could easily take on all the other espada.

For the record, that is his shikai. He cannot seal his sword...ever.

Bankai is a maybe, a very big maybe. Seeing as the fact that we have only seen up to what... four. Number four kicked Ichigo's ass with bankai and I think the mask. Zaraki lost (it was more of a tie really) against Ichigo when Ichigo only had shikai.

Yes that is his shikai (Sorta) but it isn't in union with him, and thus it actually weakens him instead of strengthens him like a shikai should. I was under the assumption that it was as good as an ordinary Zanpakuto to him, but it's hard to make that sort of estimate.

Also in that fight Ichigo drew on his Hollow in order to match Kenpachi. You can tell because his mask appears in the energy around him. It's hard to tell in the Anime, but in the manga there are clearly three lines above the left eye of the energy manifestation.

Not to the same extent, he didn't even manifest the mask when fighting Kenpachi.

Something he had to do against the higher level espeda.

Besides, it shows skeletons flowing around Kenpachi, so that was probably just a dramatization showing their inner evil/killing intent.

EDIT: You are right about the shikai thing, it inhibits him more than it helps him like it did with Ichigo. However, even then, the chances of him learning those powers are low, and gaining bankai are even lower.

He still used a part of his hollow, and the mask actually did manifest, though only to protect him from a fatal blow. Again.

And it doesn't stop the fact that there were 3 very clear lines which are a very clear symbol on Ichigo's mask. So he did draw it in order to match him, though to what extent is questionable.

Also Matsumoto was able to face one of the numeros, who though not as strong as an espada, are pretty strong themselves. And she did it without Shikai apparently.

This is a total crack idea however it occured to me earlier today. Yamato, the Sou-taicho of the Gotei 13 used to go by another name. It explains his godlike power, his control of the most powerful fire type Zanpakto in all of Soul Society. You see once apon a time Yamato went by the name Gandelf.

How or WHY he became so strict and obsessed with the rules etc, I have no idea. And yes I know thi blatently violates both series histories:)

I imagine this idea would be more earth-shattering if I knew who Yamato and Gandelf were. Yamamoto and Gandalf, on the other hand, might be interesting. :p

Seriously speaking, though, it'd take a whole lot of butchering on both Yamamoto and Gandalf's characters. Gandalf is a Maiar, he's friendly but stern, and he doesn't really use fire per se, at least not as exclusively as he'd have to to have a zanpakuto like Ryujin Jakka.Yamamoto wouldn't know humor if it came up and fried eggs on his bald head.

Yeah sorry about the misspelling I was at Uni half typing with one hand. Should have waited to get home. However the reason I said Gandalf might make a Yamamoto is because Gandalf wore the ring of fire. At one point it said he was an expert of fire and all of its forms. However you have a point about their characters.

What if Mayuri made a clone of Aizen using programmed memories, on orders from Yamamoto in order to try and find a way to beat Aizen's zanpakuto? And this clone was released when he was about Hitsugaya's age physically?

Only this Aizen's personality is a little... Different. How different depends on what the story would be: Comedic or serious.

Watched the episode where Orihime gets her powers, and this popped in my head.


Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka consider Ichigo to be their father.

Could result in them wanting him to take responsibility and marry mom, late night visits because of nightmares, etc., etc.

Thoughts?
