I kind of like it that Type-Moon makes fun of their own franchises here, the only problem I have with here is the cafe/restaurant named "Ahnenerbe" after having read Delta Green: Denied To The Enemy.

Funny how they referenced to episode one in episode two where Shirou and the rocket made cameo appearances during the beach ball fight. I feel a bit sorry for Ciel though.

Yes. I had to look her up after I saw it. Her name is <a href='http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Riesbyfe_Stridberg' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Riesbyfe Stridberg</a>. Yet another 'Japanese-Invented Pseudo-Western Name'.

Yes, that scene made me laugh harder than anything in the first episode.

Also, Archer's sparkly grin to Rin as he was beating everyone in the match game was pretty awesome too.

And there was a hilarious Street Fighter 2 the Animated Movie reference in the second episode. (Okay, that, "What do you see beyond your fist?" thing maybe pretty common in Japanese culture, but I think of Street Fighter 2's, "Ken. What do you see beyond your fists?" "MY FATE!".)
