I'd heard about a Ducktales reboot .. but ... I'm a bit sad to see that character style. I really miss the original.

Agreed. Seriously, I don't understand why they felt the need to go with that art style, when they had one that looks better.

Personally, I think the new artstyle works well with the animation of this series. I also have to give credit for the improvements made to Webby, the fact they gave the boys noticeably different personalities, and that Donald appears to be joining in the fun.

But hey, don't take my word for it.

Watching Batman and Harley Quinn

Nightwing, I don't blame you...just...I know Bruce told you about the dangers of...*ahem*...dealing with crazy.

Though I do wonder....would Starfire be miffed over Dick having a one-night stand with Harley?

I liked the first episode. I also liked the fact that they hew closer to the original comics design, and the fact that the boys are similar but different people.

I'm rather looking forward to seeing what drove Donald and Scrooge apart, and what happened to the boy's mother.

At one point in this episode Bruce seemingly falls to his death with the girls initially seemingly distraught....but shrugging it off since they were going to kill him anyways. I know they did that to make it clear the girls are villains...but I think I would've ended it differently.

In my version, Bruce falls and the girls make every single attempt to try and save him but seemingly fail. Their reasoning being that Bruce's company shows a lot more respect for the environment than other corporations (Ivy), and Quinn's noticed that he's funded the rehabilitation of really mentally disturbed people. Batman, of course overhears all of this. We still have the final fight between them and Batman but this time, when they get back to Arkham they find a fake Christmas tree (biodegradable and everything) with a couple of gifts under the tree care of Bruce Wayne. With a card that says

"Next time....try asking first."

I'm sure we have an ideas thread this could go in. It's a pretty interesting one.

Amusing as this is...I'm going to have to wave the B.S. flag. In Young Justice, Batman was a really good father figure, better than Superman was to Conner (at first), so I can't let this go without comment.

This is quite painful, even for someone who isn't that big of a Lilo and Stitch fan.

EDIT: Also, not funny, either.
