... The Death Note doesn't say any of that. Ryuk said that bit about neither heaven nor hell way back near the beginning (Timeline wise at least. Plot wise I believe it first appeared in that last chapter, though I don't recall exactly.). The nothingness is where ALL humans go after they die in that series. The irony is that Light, who thought himself like a god who passed judgement on the sinful was worth exactly the same after his death as those he thought of as trash and cleansed during his life. Unless they changed the Anime beyond that whole bit about getting rid of Light begging for his life at the end, I don't see where the confusion is coming from.

In the live action version (or at least in the fansub of it that I saw), Ryuk said that anyone who uses the Death Note will see neither Heaven nor Hell upon there deaths. "You will see... nothing!" He tells Light this just before Light dies, and seems to enjoy disclosing this fact to him.

The fact that he felt the need to mention using the Death Note as the cause implies that in the live action version, at least, other souls do go to heaven or hell... or that the fansubbers added something.

Cosplay generally falls short of expectations. A Trait occuring when the medium is changed.

Still, I think they did a pretty good job with this one.

Also, commercialism is unstoppable.

Look kids, a collectable Massacre Princess Bobble Head Figurine!

She's hot, but needs a firmer and slightly larger rack to fit the character better.

I'm not complaining. I saw some other cosplay that weren't as good. Such as Fat Face!Euphemia.

It wasn't too bad, but her face just looked disproportionately fat compared to the rest of her...

Edit: you know what would be awesome? Getting some people together for one of the Cons, dressing up as the Black Knights/Zero, and kidnapping a Euphemia Cosplayer, preferably oen in the company of a Suzaku Cosplayer.

Now if we could just get some actual giant robots as well...

...you know, nevermind the other options. Everyone is to go as Zero.

Everyone.

no, we get all of TFF to go as Zero. appear as a group at it and proclaim we are all Zero.

Those who have seen Code Geass would all invariably end up incapacitated from laughter thus allowing us to hijack the event for the glory of TFF.

Only if we kidnap the princess as well.

And if you find somnewhere to buy the costumes.

For some reason, that looks to me like a demented wedding cake topper. Is there an equally twisted one of Suzaku we can put next to it on the cake?

Exactly what is Lelouch's Geass in those parodies? The power to command people through their desires?
