I need GOOD subs of tamers.

Like RIGHT NOW.

All I can find is Dub, and while I normally don't have a problem with that, I need the Japanese version because that's where I landed in this RP we're playing...

Adlibbing conversation's without actually mentioning or typing them is REALLY hard because I have to HOPE that the dub got THIS right, and this and this.

Just tell me where I can get the Subs please. I can't find those bastards.

The Red creature is named Shoutmon apparently. The Omegamon rip off is Shoutmon X4 (Cross 4) so they might just be going back to Jogress/Dna Digivolution.

That orange Garurumon looks too much like Tiger from Monster Rancher.

Monster Rancher and Digimon are two completely different properties/franchises.

Also, any news about the latest Digimon series beyond confirmation that it is happening?

He meant the fact I called Shoutmon X4 a Omegamon ripoff. Not the tiger reference. Aarik is a big fan of digimon and pokemon equally. Though I'm personally partial to digimon and Monster Rancher. (Damn you for delaying Monster Rancher DS until July! You promised me March!)

@Aarik, I'm just a little sad Digimon introduced new digimon instead of using one of the 800+ they had like Dracomon/Dragomon or another Royal Knight type. This one looks too much like a carbon copy of Omegamon. :(

Since it does seem to be a copy of Omegamon does that mean we have a new Royal Knight? I mean with Examon we have 11 now, that's 2 left. I know I'm not the only one who'd like to see all 13 Royal Knights.

Also since there are no other humans in the picture are we to assume that they've dumped the "team of humans and monsters" route and gone strait for a "team of one human + several monsters"?

I agree the Digimon Megazord/Omegamon look a like is silly, but still regardless of any cons this new series of Digimon may offer one thing makes up for it: THE GOGGLES ARE BACK!

I also used to be a fan of Monster Rancher, I think, but I was so little then that I couldn't always get up for the morning shows, eventually the show was canceled, and since I knew nothing of the internet at the time I just sorta forgot about it, I can't even remember any of the names now, but then, I've always been horrible with names.

All I remember is the little Eye on the stalk, one scene with some bad guy attacking a disk for some reason, and that the monsters come from disks made of stone or something.

are playing a powerful tag (game?) in the
Digital World. There, the Digimon Army has
started fighting like in the Sengoku period. (Period of many/constant civil wars in Japanese history)

SHOUTMON
He is a digimon protecting the "Village of peace" in
the digital world. Becoming the leader of his allies,
they stand up against the Digimon army who have become
enemies of the village.

CROSS WARS

What is digimon?
They are the monsters who live in the Digital World. Their
bodies are made of Digital Data. If they take a lot of damage, the data
will break and extinguish. They power up by Evolving. (Digivolution..)

What is the Digital World?
A parallell universe on the other side of the computer network
bound to our world. Everything there is made up of Digital Data.
It looks like there are various areas in this world, but accurate
details are still unknown.

KUDOU TAIKI
A boy who is in 1st grade of middle school (junior high).
His sense of justice is very strong and he is good at sports.
Having a bright and energetic personality, he is the kind of
guy who cannot look away/leave it alone when he sees someone
who is in trouble.

The season is titled Digimon Crosswars. New Main character is named Taiki and his partner is Shoutmon. They went back to using ten-eleven year old main characters at least. Title gives me hope for some kind of crossover :wub:

Here's what we know so far:

Digimon Xros Wars (ÑÃÑ©ÑÔѾѻÑÝÑ?ѪѮ®`Ñ?, Dejimon Kurosu W¿¡zu?), pronounced Digimon Cross Wars, is the title of the sixth season in the Digimon franchise by Akiyoshi Hongo. It is currently set to debut in July 2010 on TV Asahi,[1] making it the first series in the franchise to air on another network in Japan (Fuji Television aired all other seasons prior to Xros Wars). No official word has been confirmed on whether it will air in North America or Europe, yet.

History

Three and a quarter years after the end of the fifth season, a new sixth series has been confirmed by Bandai for the Digimon anime. The official name of the series was revealed in the June issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine. It is set to air in Japan in July 2010 on TV Asahi.[1] Among the Digimon to be included in this new series are Shoutmon (the main character, Taiki Kudou's partner), Dorurumon, Ballistamon, Greymon, Monitormon, Starmon, and Shoutmon X4.[2] Early pictures demonstrate that the character designs in Xros Wars will be more like the first four seasons than the ones seen in Data Squad, and the main character will wear a pair of goggles like those worn in the first four seasons, which were absent in the fifth.
