I don't know about 'Slap some sense' into Katara, but he might finally start thinking for himself rather than taking her word as gospel.
I also wish someone would sit down and give Aang a 'Real History of the Airbenders' lesson, at some point. You know, rather than just get upset when he tries to defend his culture as he knew it from his 12 year old perspective. Of course, it would have to be someone Aang trusts... may even have to be Gyatso... but still!

I pretty sure she's headed to Byakko on her stolen ballon to seek sanctuary from Ozai's wounded pride. For added fun the Water Tribe and Earth Kingdom survivors are also heading to a 'unidentified' safe haven while being guided by Hue who knows Shidan and Byakko...oh and we can't forget that Ursa and the surving memebers of the abducted Souther Waterbenders are also being sheltered there too. So people are free to guess what kind of fun is soon to be happening on the isle of the White Tiger since Makoto and the Fire Navy are also on their way there to deal with the traitors. I belive this is a situation that rhymes with Fuster Cluck.
