I'm kind of toying with a version of the kid!Loki era in the comics where Thor/Donald Blake and Jane were the ones that ended up caring for Loki for a time during his second childhood to keep him from the prejudice of Asgard and "reform" him a bit. As a result, whether he'd admit it or not, Loki is as protective or more of Jane as he is toward Frigga. And Jane was from Midgard and fears for her people.
So, yes, have pity for the Minbari. For the sons of Odin will have none.
