That's not the problem, F1. The problem is that I'm interested in that Negima idea, but this simply is the wrong thread to talk about it, and there IS another topic for misc ideas... simce I'd like to discuss this, could we use the appropriate topic so as not to make this one derail into another fandom that has nothing to do with NGE?

*sigh* GH, you're not seeing my point. Yes, this isn't the section for it, but guess what, I said something that just crossed my mind. An idle thought, that you then said "NO IDLE THOUGHTS, this other place is the ONLY other place you can think these things!" I wasn't even that interested in continuing the thought (and note the lack of real responses), but you jumped on me anyway. I can see why you'd say something, even though there was no real discussion about the idea, but at the same time it gives me a flashback to something YOU were complaining about before.

Not sure if this belongs in Ideas or Talk, but I'm putting it here anyways.

Just had the thought today, how would Shinji have turned out, and the series as a whole unfolded, if you switch Kaji and Misato's positions? Instead of it being Misato that picks up Shinji and makes him her roommate, she's stuck in Germany with Asuka; and Kaji ends up being the one to pick up Shinji from the train station and guide him through the first Angels? It always seemed to me that Kaji connected fairly well with Shinji (kinda the father figure he never really had) while Misato, while she did come to care for him, more or less used him to feel less lonely and as entertainment/labor. Not sure if you'd be changing their jobs with Nerv though, Misato could be with Asuka to run her through combat simulations and Kaji be at Nerv early to get his foot in the door to spy for Japan later. Anyways, whatcha think?

Anything dealing with HK-47 is made of instant win. It might be crackfic material but I would love to see someone write this. Problem is, I see Hk-47 striving to make Third Impact happen, seeing as it would rid him of all the ,meatsacs in existance. Granted his 'master' would become delicious Tang as well, but eggs and omlets, yes?

Nah I'd say that HK-47 goes for the long run of evil, since he's a droid. A planet sans life is not one he'd want to live in after all since there'd be no one to kill!

Ya, and having those meatbags to hunt upon is definetly better than having to look at a tang sea for the rest of his existence. No fun in that for him.

Download of Negima just finished, now to Fate/Stay Night.

*sigh* Always a day late and a buck short when it comes to knowledge of a series.

Since I have no fear of spoilers (hell, I always read the last 10 pages of a book before I start the first chapter) would someone mind explaining why Shinji summoning Rider would be a horrible thing for Gendo?

Rider tends to care for her masters (at least Sakura anyways). I don't think Gendou would fare to well. Though to really screw him, have Gendou accidentally summon Gil ^_^

Hmmm... I agree. However, It might be interesting if done to Tiny Toons, or DarkWing Duck. I liked both of those. If done, must have at least one scene of Stegmutt stating "Put out the Gendo, Put out the Gendo"

Anything crossed with HK-47 becomes instant win of the highest order, for instance, throw him into the violent world of Naruto, he'd probably have a digital orgasm when faced with the opportunities of reckless violence and abundant bloodshed :snigger:

For whatever reason (the Ebon Hawk is skuttled/crashed on Naruto's world after KOTOR 2?) Since Naruto's the person to reactivate him he takes the place as master? No clue where this would go from there, but HK would likely be happy as a pig in mud. Killing ninjas ould likely be almost as 'fun' for him as killing jedi was.

These are all very valid and interesting concepts you guys, and I love the concept of Naruto+HK 47, but uh don't you think we should reserve that for the Naruto section?


More over though I think in it's own way NGE verse would hold it's own comedy simply because like most poeple, I find that because of NGE's seriousness(seriousitude?) comedy fics work VERY well there, there for I have outlined how it will work.


Due to section 2's absolute retardery(noobishness(noobitude?), I mean come on they lost a 14 year old kid that they're supposed to be watching 24 hours a day........how the hell can you do that and remain respectability as a secret service? Honestly.) our favorite foxy faux blonde builds a robot (to become our ever lovable HK) in order to watch Shinji. Unfortunately the ill timed Nerv party to cellebrate the 5th angels death and a few daqueries here and there she loads in the ill placed Kotor 1 DVD into the compy for the robot.


After she passes out from her drunkery the robot refits itself to HK's specs. And identifies it's 'Master' as one of two people.
