Rumors of who, random fanboys on the internet? All the released material refers to it as a remake of the previous anime or is just pictures of Shirou and Saber with zero information. No mention has been made in reference to the original VN, let alone whether it would be an adaption of a specific route. It's just: Fate/Stay Night the anime, mark 2. The only person who referred to a route adaption was Urobuchi, a guy not remotely involved in the project, and on top of that he said that as far as he understood it was going to be UBW.

Yeah, that's why it's "rumors", not "here's a translated statement from some scanlator forum from the magazine" or something like that. I guess that we're gonna know way more after the next issue of Type Moon Ace comes out end of January, and then the content of that filters into English press.
...Although, since the last scene before it cuts to the FSN logo at about 2:10 in today's new preview video is Shirou with his left arm wrapped with dat red cloth....
Well, basically people have been looking for route-specific images inside the preview footage and stuff.
There's a lot of attention to the "Hill of Swords" inside EMIYA's world, so there's that, so it's a question of whether of we're getting trolled with something route-specific.
Or if they're gonna go for a "mixed Route" kind of thing like they shot for in the first anime, maybe Shirou gets the arm grafted on a-la HF but reaffirms his ideals a-la UBW or something.
That could work.
I just don't want to feel the Bad Feels that is Heaven's Feel.

Friendly neighborhood admin here. The two threads served the same purpose, so I merged them and updated the title so no one would get too lost. Please check the catalog before you make a thread.
Also, my guess is that it'll be another route mishmash, with a stronger Heaven's Feel direction. The pic suggests UBW, but that's a hill of corpses.

Well, decided to google image the... image. 
I found a similar one on the amazon Fate/stay Night [Realta Nua] page.
So, as with previous images, it's just a reused asset.
