I love the interactions between Shirou and his four Sekirei.

Shirou-Homura: kinda hilariously awkward, and, in some ways, sorta adorable

Shirou-Kusano: HNNNNNNNNGGH-!

Shirou-Akitsu: So very lovely, and their interactions reminds me of what I perceive as a typical Master-Servant relationship is like, which might be the point. I just really wish Shirou finds a way to mark Akitsu.

Shirou-Musubi: Very humorous, nuff said.

Agreed.

HNNNNNGH indeed.

"Is that a set of bloomers and gym shirt?" I asked, not quite sure what I was seeing. Where on earth had Yukari gotten that? Did they actually sell that kind of thing at specialty shops? Was there that big a fetish for the things?
For some reason, Shirou being clueless about Japanese otaku culture amuses me to no end.

The 'Shirou is a bonehead' meme is hilarious.

This chapter sucked. No action. Maybe some comedy scenes, and a whole lot of explanations on things I don't care about.

My major complaint about the fanfic is probably how it spoonfeeds everything, I don't hate it in general though, it could use some improvement is all.

It'll get better, I was pretty 'meh' about Hill of Swords until a little after the Albion chapter and really got into it around the battle of Saxe Gotha.

Hill of Swords explained everything I needed to know about the Zero No Tsukaima world. Zero fandom is tiny, at best, so I understand why that was necessary, but Sek is OneManga's top 20 most viewed on-going manga.

1. It's like explaining the Naruto-verse in detail. I don't need to know. I don't want to know. Release the Ninjas! There is so much telling, but hardy any showing.

2. There is also the constant back-track to Fate/Stay Night "Back in the day Rin and Saber...." I don't care. Do you care? No. Do I care? No. Does anyone care? Maybe.

3. I just read a 13,000 word summary on an episode that could have been written a quarter that length.

4. Shirou sounds like he's 40 years old. Not even Archer's this Dumbledore-ish.

5. This author has a horrible sense of humor. The art of subtlety is lost on him, and he doesn't understand that dark humor/sarcastic humor is what you use in first person genres. The random borderline-crack is just awkward, and I've gotta skip it altogether to get to the real plot.

This is one of those stories where the more you analyze it, the more ridiculous it gets. I still like it, but eventually I've gotta give in. Still the best Sek story out there, aside from the one where Minato finds Akitsu.

All that needs to be said.

Most of the Saber/Rin references I've noticed are from their post-game time as a threesome, so I don't mind that so much.

(Probably a bit much to hope for the two of them actually showing up in this fic. GB's MO seems to be dropping Shirou in a different series, so that Shirou's the only FSN character he has to write...then again, considering the varying success he's had just with getting Shirou right, maybe it's better that way.)

Sans humor, chapter was mostly an info dump. Oh well.
And Kuu-chan being damn adorable.

GB should put Shirou in Warhammer 40k.

Realistically, he's getting corrupted by Chaos or tortured by the Inquisition or both, but with GB, Shirou would go into the Eye of Terror and vanquish the Chaos Gods or something like that. Because that would totally make a great story, amirite?

Eh. :huh.:

Nice bit of trolling there, though.

People actually read Sekirei?
Its one of the most shallow and pointless fanservice anime ever, this injection of EMIYA can only do it good.
Also, Yes, I've read the whole manga up to current events.

Also Cynic: No. Lrn2 Troll.

Ditto.
. . . :headbanger:

This is a travesty! A lapse of security! An incident!

Read Sekirei. Read it now. Now!

Well if there's one thing I can be thankful to GB for, it's that his fics can bring a series to the attention of these heathens.

And yes, it's shallow and full of fanservice. If that's your complaint, why are you reading GB's fics? You enjoy Man!Shirou, you enjoy Sekirei, that's compulsory. Now shut up and read!

Read faster, maggots! You can fap to the pin-up posters later!

While Eiken being a shallow fanservice anime is true, it is not relevant to the topic.
