Glad to see more of this, I really enjoyed the dinner conversation.
Am I reading too much into things or did the Kazekage REALLY misinterpret Anko's status in the village and the reason why she's not a full Jounin? Because if her security clearance is higher than Kurenai's she can't be considered untrustworthy as the Kazekage believes.
Oh and Fosfor, about the "I work on all my stories." Does that include those you co-author with someone?

All right, from the top.
The Kazekage actually was right on the money. The reasons why Anko has higher security celarance than Kurenai are as follows: at this point Kurenai is a chuunin, probationary tokubetsu jounin rating (that was the 'bait' Sarutobi used to get her to take Naruto as an apprentice - not just a student, but full-time apprentice). Anko is a walking library of kinjutsu - as Orochimaru's former student she knows more about forbidden and illegal jutsu than most jounin do - he can't restrict her acces at that point, since it is pointless.
Also, as Orochimaru's student she had an access to tons of vital, usually incredibly classified information. Nowadays it is donwgraded (that is why she complains about it) but it is still consderably higher than any other tokubetsu jounin simply because of ehr past. Not to mention the juuin she bears is still experimented with (to get her rid of it) when the opporutinuty comes and that's rather calssifeid as well at this point.
As an expert on kinjutsu (since she is - she actually knows more forbidden/high level stuff than normal jutsu) she is sometimes deployed in that capacity. That, and the fact those kind of missions are usually incredibly risky and sending a chuunin is suicidical, while sneding a high-levle jounin might be out of client's price range, or not in Konoha's financial interest. Solution? Send Anko.
Besides, ebcause of her problems, she's a plausible deniability nin and Saurotbi has no qualms about sending her on various errands in that capacity. Anko is a perfect operative for that and she doens't really mind as long as she has something to do.
The answer to the last question is yes. When I say all, I do mean all. The pace varies, but al sgtories are worked on. It might be a sentence or two, or an idea, or a small revision, a side story or an almost complete chapter - it varies, but they are being worked on.
