Naruto Future Lost

Somehow, Moegi annoys me immensely.

Other than that, so far the fic gives of a... vibe, or feeling, I guess, that reminds me of some mixed RPG/Strategy games, like Sengoku Rance or Big Bang Age. Minus the porn, for the most part.

Seconded, but also
ôMakes you think about why you would send him on a mission that requires him to go undercover.ö Apparently. ôNaruto isn't exactly the most stealthy guy in the world. His original line of jutsu is the proof.ö
This part is just confusing and in the previous line you said that Iruka was alone yet there is no hint that either Iruka is surprised or that someone unseen was there.

I third the dislike of Moegi. Kill her off. :sisi:

But yeah, good updates, though I'm kinda wary of how Iruka's skills are as well as the matter of Itachi's leaving.

Why do I feel like small clans like the Fuuma are going to be invited into the village?

Fuuma is not a small clan there are like 300 or more Fuumas.

Power-wise, dude. Power-wise. There are two known Fuuma clans, but I'm talking about the Sound branch, who pretty much have no power.

Also, I'm curious how you got 300 members from.

Moegi needs to be reported to Iruka. She was blabbing confidential secrets and refusing to tell how she found out.

I can just envision all this happening, and then nonviolent Itachi walks into the field and knocks out everyone. I doubt he's become weak just because he won't kill.

Wait, you'd think it's possible he shaved his head and became a monk?

No. It's just that people haven't forgotten about Itachi. Different sides have different views of him, but he's still Itachi. He's still going to be an issue.

Actually, if you look at it time wise, they could be the same clan. Just you know, one that migrated from Rain Country to Rice Country over the years between the second great shinobi war and the attack on Konoha by Orochimaru. At least, that's my theory.

And I am also curious about the 300 members. We saw like 30 tops in anime and manga together.

Not only that but on that secret mission she wants the agent to plant an unknown seed at random while refusing to tell anyone what it does, when her whole characterization is basically that she is a mad scientist.

I don't care how laid back the leader is, in a setting with even a minimum of paranoia and social structure (like a ninja villiage that is gearing up for war against what they term as traitors) this shit wouldn't fly.

First, learn something approaching proper grammar or else people will not respect you. I'm not saying they will respect you if you learn proper grammar, I'm just saying they won't if you don't.

Second, "lame" is to subjective of an adjective to give proper examples.

Third, demanding that someone "name a time" for an idea, or opinion that doesn't try and appear as fact, is just being childish.

Fourth, it is also childish to declare something "Fail" just because you don't like it.

Fifth, They were serious when a civil war started that wiped out a good portion of there population, basically left the village in ruins and reduced the fighting force to a small fraction of what it was (and most likely to small to hold of anything greater then an invasion of mooks). They were also serious when they decided to go to war with the two factions that left there village in ruins. Finally I'm guessing they were serious when Iruka sent Naruto on a mission that is both dangerous, for both himself and the village as a whole, and secret.

Would you like me to go on or do you get the idea?

Isn't it possible, even likely, that Iruka told Moegi about all of this and arranged her plants as a kind of surprise for Naruto to sow as he moves?

If Iruka arranged it, then he would've told Naruto about it. As he didn't, this obviously something Moegi decided to do herself.

Which means she not only somehow gained access to classified information and refuses to name her source despite the possible risk to village security, she also tried to blackmail a member of the village on a classified mission to perform actions that could possibly lead him to compromise said mission.

All in all, she easily looks like the kind of character that constantly blackmails or "frightens" the protagonists, despite the fact that said protagonist could easily get rid of her either by beating her into a pulp or reporting her to the authorities to be taken care of, because the protagonist is "intimidated" by her for some vague and nebulous reason.

Most likely this is topped when, for some reason, every other character isn't affected that way at all.

Shittiest. Character archetype. Ever. Hands down.

-insert all rants about Moegi here-

[unlurk] Well kinda sorta yeah, but I personally feel we have not seen NEARLY enough of Moegi as a character to jump to the Fail-Archtype-Trope stage yet. I mean we've seen her vastly helping the village with her assistance of the plants, making her already a valuable member of Konoha, and we see her knowing about the talk concerning Narutos surveillance, when IMMEDIATELY AFTER there is a scene with Iruka conversing with someone else. To me it seems like Moegi could even be that person, but I'm pretty out there so I'm not placing any bets.

tl;dr version- More time is needed to make a valid judgement on Moegi as a character.

I personally like her.

Well I thinks she's supposed to be either yet anothr genius of plant jutsu a mad scinetist or some long lost offshot of the senju clan that had the mokuton among its skills.

The Plants she wants naruto to spread all over the fire country probably allow her to see/hear watever is close to them and are also probably sentient.

The problem is that she is quite annoying, the whol onichan part is annoying the whole I know more than you and you're gonna be my bitch and do as I want is quite annoying. (well maybe I'm exxagerating a little bit)

She feels close to your standard mary sue annoying character that seems to clash with the whole story.

After careful re-reading of the snippets and reading everyone's posts, I've come to a conclusion about Moegi. I don't like her at all. She is actually ruining the story for me. So you know, if you kill her off early on, I'd be much more optimistic and anticipating of the story's updates.

Eeeeeeeeeeeehm... No. Moegi is there for a purpose and she acts like that for a purpose. If you don't like it, just skip over the parts with her or don't read the story.

Or you could, y'know, find a way how Moegi could still fulfill that purpose without being so incredibly annoying for (from the looks of it) a good deal of your readers. Just saying.
