To bring this closer to the topic...here's a random picture of Darth Vader...

Is Vader stupid?

He's standing on the platform that turns you into carbonite!

Pssh, like that would work on him. He's Darth *frickin* Vader, he's have you forced choked and in the air before the thought even crossed your mind.

edit:

Hold on, that's way to small to be a carbon freezing chamber, more and likely it's a lift similar to the one Luke used to reach him.

Well, not to be off-topic, but 4, 5 and 6 were the films I enjoyed growing up, watching VHS Tapes through the 90s. When Phantom Menace was announced in the late of 1998 in Australia, and when my die-hard Uncle explained 1, 2 and 3 were coming out, this is what I imagined, (In Fanfiction Format):

Episode I: Phantom Menace - We get to see how cool Anakin was as a Rookie Jedi. Ends with Anakin saving the day, but his Heroism in defeating Darth Maul: Republic lose a strategic position/alliance with some star systems.

Episode II: Attack of the Clones - We get to see Anakin's descent into darkness as Sidious manipulates the Jedi Council. It ends with Padme (In one role or the other) finding out she is pregnant and Anakin agreeing to be a double agent to Sidious in order to make up for the mistakes in Phantom Menace.

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - Sidious has direct influence over Council; Jedi are not framed by Republic, but are sent to their death in an assignment/successful treachery by Sidious. He uses "wiping out" of Jedi as a springboard for Emperor position. Anakin questions his own loyalties throughout the film and is then confronted by Obi-Wan and other surviving Jedi when attempting to return to Coruscant as the only survivor: As Sidious had planned. Anakin is killed... and Darth Vader is born.

Pretty much what I thought would happen in the Spring of 1998. Give or take a few details I inserted in as I went through the verse.

...In short, STOP, GEORGE. STOP.

I think you mean Obi-Wan and not Anakin for Episode I.

Obligatory

That would've actually have been cooler than what we got.

Also, he can't stop. Just look at the Clone Wars series.

My Episodes I-III re-imagined. Just to buck it short.

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

War has encapsulated the Republic. A steady truce between the Outer Rim worlds and the Inner Sphere has been broken after a breakdown in deal talks. The Jedi, peacekeepers of the universe, are spread far too thin to enforce law and order.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, the youngest Jedi Master and Council member in centuries has been assigned alongside his Padawan Anakin Skywalker to resolve a hostage crisis in a Neutral Zone to gain the trust of a strategic cluster of worlds.

Little did they know of the forces that were at work... and the far reaching consequences that their actions would have across the galaxy.

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Four years have passed since the destruction of the Forge in the Neutral Zone of Cal-III. The campaign has been in the favor of the Inner Sphere thus far, victories along Yavin and Marchon have allowed the Inner Sphere to push the Outer Rim forces back.

However, as the forces marched, the Council of Dantooine and the planet itself have been taken hostage by a covert operation of the Outer Rim forces. In an effort to ensure the continued success of their operations, the Inner Sphere have turned to the Jedi to conduct a rescue to ensure no foothold is gained.

Anakin Skywalker, now Field Commander for the Inner Sphere and Jedi Knight, leads the charge in order to reclaim Dantooine...

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

After the reveal of the clone conspiracy, the Inner Sphere has divided amongst itself with distrust. The Republic, as a whole, lies in tatters with the shadow of suspicion. Loyalties are questioned amongst allies and enemies.

Obi-Wan Kenobi and his former Master, Qui-Gon Jinn are under the orders of both the Council and Ambassador Toran Organa to inspect the origin of the Clones, suspecting foul play behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, Anakin Skywalker is a shadow operative under the orders of Chancellor Palpatine, torn between his loyalties to the Jedi, the Republican Council... and his family.

One thing I've heard/read from a while back regarding the Han shot first thing.

It comes down to the MPAA being really anal about some things, like the fact that if it was Han gunning down Greedo, and it not being self-defense, then it would have bumped the rating up to PG-13 (a rating which didn't exist when it was first released). Sure we may scoff at that, but people are weird and even though it was Star Wars, those same weird people would see it's now rated PG-13 and not want to take their kids to it (the reason I believe Lucas re-released them in '97, introducing a new generation to Star Wars, to go along with the fat check they brought in).

Thus proving, once again, that the MPAA are dicks.
