Probably because most of the founders left and it's more or less run by Activision

Also, they shill hard for Communist China. Freedom and communism are quite incompatible.

Does this include Activision? It's the same company.

Saying "Blizzard is dead to me" and buying Activision games is a bit like when those midwestern farmers got mad about the Bud Light corn syrup commercial and poured out a bunch of Budweiser and then made a big show about drinking a bunch of Busch Beer. [For those that don't know, the company that makes Budweiser products is Anheuser-Busch.]

If yes, I'm with you on that and they've both been dead to me for a while, and this is the final nail that ensures I'll never buy a game from either ever again. I haven't bought an Activision or Blizzard title in years anyway due to the loot box nonsense they tend to be full of. The last Blizzard game I bought was Diablo III, and I haven't bought an Activision title since around 2013-14. [I think Deadpool was the last one, but I'm not certain.]
The list of big game companies I don't buy games from is growing bigger all the time.

I don't buy EA games, anything from Konami, and now Blizzard/Activision is on the list, with Zenimax/Bethesda getting closer and closer to being on my shit list as well.

Despite that, I am not lacking in great games to play.

Turns out Blizzard is quite happy to endorse and support human rights violations and organ theft, and will in fact go out of their way to silence and punish anyone who speaks against their Chinese pocketbook.

My Local Game Shop.

Earlier this year, after setting up shop at a convention and coming home, their trailer was stolen with all the merch still inside it. Then after something else happened, that they won't mention further about, they have decided to close up shop. The will still continue on as a business entity, online store/a booth at a con/running the game room, but the physical store will be closing for good November 29.

Regarding the Hearthstone incident, apparently Blizzard took some time dealing with the backlash and decided to reduce the winning player's ban to six months and restore his winnings. Don't change the fact that what they did was a colossal dick move, but it's something, I guess...? /shakes hands

Did they give the presenters their jobs back? No. That entire 'response' was a halfassed PR move after they got the greenlight from the owner of the boots they're treating like popcicles, because they pissed everyone off so hard their fucking 'delete account' page got DDoS from the number of people using.

Blizzard showed their colors, and those colors are red and yellow.

Also, Activision and Blizzard have long been the same thing- a money source for Vivendi.
