Setsuna is obviously not a very good mechanic, but he has good taste Terminator!Exia is awesome.

Also, I'm calling SetsunaxFeldt end, because Sunrise will probably troll us AGAIN by killing Marina late in the season. :snigger:

Note that Marina brings her hands to her chest after Setsuna's "not changed" comment, lulz.

And a little off topic, there are three SetsunaxFeldt fics on ff.net, no SetsunaxMarina... And a pile of yaoi.

Gundam SEED used to be good... Then SEED DESTINY turned it into a pile of shit.

Warning, do not watch Destiny unless feeling masochistic. <_<

Gundam 00>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gundam SEED.

Gundam SEED artwork makes my eyes bleed.

well no shit Gundam 00 >>>>>>>>>>>>> Gundam SEED

Gundam 00 Animation + CGi = 2008.

Gundam SEED is what 2002-2003?

In any case I'm downloading a4e's h264 encodes of Gundam SEED phase 1. Also SEED Destiny's art-style is that of Fafner, which was one of the reasons why people hated it so much. Every character looked exactly the same with a different color swap slapped on.

I'm talking about the character designs, the designer just uses the same heads with different hair over and over and over and over.

May he die in everlasting torment since he's STILL doing it.

Gundam SEED was an awesome show.

Destiny is the bastard child nobody cares about.

Seriously, it's like the tsukihime anime or w/e it was called.

It. Doesn't. Exist.

Oh and I already have Gundam SEED on my hdd.

All 10GB of it.

Also, Gundam SEED is one of the few series where I like the dubs better than the subs.

Subs voices are way too feminine.

I have a lot of personal faves in the franchise. Victory Gundam was a great show and one I felt was much darker than Zeta Gundam. I loved Gundam X as well...

The one Gundam story that I wish would get the anime treatment is Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam. I mean... Pirate Gundams, man!!!

lol it took me something like a week+ to download it.

Though I think my copy is starting to get corrupted. In the last few episodes during the meteor sequences I'm getting gfx errors whenever I watch it.

don't think thats the problem. Probably just wearing down because I watched them so many times as I'm using the combined community codec pack.

That and it's possible that since they're a dvd-rip off of Anime-Supreme before they took down all their torrents they're more susceptible to corruption maybe.

Uninstall CCCP and install the following below; the ones in bold are a must if you want smooth video for everything. Also install the Full Packs not the Lite ones, even if it says K-Lite. :p

K-Lite Codec Pack

DivX 6.8

FFDShow MPEG-4

Matroska Pack

I have all four installed on my harddrive, the K-Lite Codec Pack works better than the CCCP as it has a SHITLOAD more features and plug-ins than CCCP. Also if you are like me who won't take anything less than 1280x720p h264 encodes for all the newer animes, then you absolutely need the Matroska Pack as it allows you to play .mkv files. Which are the only files aside from .ogg that hold dual-audio and allow h264 encoding.

Isn't the reason why people hated Gundam Seed Destiny isn't so much the art (which could have been better), but the general storyline and lack of character development?

Besides the feeling that the second season felt like a rehash of the first season, a blatant example of the comic book rule where 'No one stays dead except Bruce Wayne's parents' (paraphrasing). A character that clearly died in the first season, was brought back in Destiny (granted, late in Destiny). Worse, in order for him to comeback, they had to CHANGE his 'death' scene a bit by cutting out the obvious sign that said character died (this was long after the initial uncut scene was aired. So the DVD version had the cut version).

<_<

As for Gundam 00, seen the episode. I still liked it but, had too many <_< moments. Especially when they are trying to make throwaway annoying characters... useful. You know who I'm talking about.

Well yeah, the throw-away characters have to become useful and decent in a fight so that when Exia-00 finally shows up next episodes and rapes them through the floor, the fight will be glorified and pure epic awesomeness.

That damn Crossroad better end up doing something epic this season after all the time that was wasted on him in the first one. <_<

Throughout most of the first season I was thinking he was going to replace whichever one of the Meisters died (since it was obvious at least one of them was going to), and then "Why hallo thar Lockon's <s>clone</s>long lost brother!"....

But, if it keeps a good voice actor in the series, I shouldn't really complain.

ITS SO FUCKING HILARIOUS!
Lol. I was so thinking that every time Setsuna said something along the lines of becoming a Gundam.

Also, does it even count as Yaoi if they're both robots?

I just found it hilarious for Setsuna's commentary of "I'm a Gundam" followed by "Iie, I was Gundam" then putting on the gundam mask crying Toh! and flying into the air.

Also Kurz Weber/Lockon Stratos's Seiyu crying out in frustration is too damn hilarious. Next to Batou's Seiyu from ghost in the shell, Kurz Weber/Lockon Stratos is my second favorite Seiyu of all time. The guy is just too damn hilarious to not-not care about.
