"Maids will be molested! M-A-I-D-O!" lulz, old stuff is old, but is still epic.

The super secret third personality Yalleluja amused me.

Yeah. I've seen that chibi-Gundam preview LONG ago (when Code Geass R2 was just starting. If that). It's funny. But old.

Spoilers will follow! If you don't want spoilers... why are you even in this thread?!

Anyways, I still feel that Crossroad and Stumpy were one of the most useless characters in season 1. The fact they are back, as possibly pilots (we know Stumpy is, but not Crossroads yet) seems a bit forced. Like they finally figured out "OH SNAP!!! We have these useless characters! We need to make them useful by making them pilots!" feels contrived. Oh, and you can just feel the angst building here. I mean, it's one thing being pilots. They're pilots... on opposite sides.

Same is true with Sergei and his son. I mean come on, do you seriously believe that tears won't be flowing at the end of this? Either Sergei died as his son will go emo, or the son dies and Sergei will go emo.

Gundam 00 can't continue without hitting its angst quota. :sisi:

Eh, I don't think they're gonna need angst involving Sergei to fill the quoter. They still have Allelujah as well as whatever plot they can come up with involving Crossroads and Halevy. I'm sure if that's not enough angst for them they'll just have Crossy form another relationship, only for that person to be brutally murdered shortly after. I'm convinced that creating depression and angst is his entire purpose (as his useless ex-girlfriend now has a purpose or something).

The 00 just raped everything. I also liked how Setsuna just basically told Sumeragi to hurry the hell back to CB and completely ignored Billy. I couldn't help but laugh there.

It appears that the A-laws have been busy. I mean 15 Mass Murders in 4 years, honestly they are well on their way to a 'Bastich' award.

00 twin drive system seems powerful, though I wonder if the fact that it has to use Trans-Am to activate will come back to bite CB in the rear later.

The A-laws actually did reasonably well. I mean the one pilots plan to remove beam weapons from play was a good idea. His error was in underestimating 00 abilities. In all honesty CB doesn't have enough of an advantage to beat the A-laws on their own. The Federation has the man-power, the resources and the technology to level the playing field if not outright dominate it. If CB hooks up with the rebels and any other nations looking to stand against the Feddies they have a solid shot at changing the world.

Here you go.

Edit: Gundam 00 is now officially a super robot based on the principles of GaoGaiGar. Look at the G-stone and COURAGE!!! power up sequence.

I must say though that the beam dispersing gas canisters was something I never thought about. Was that in any other series?

Thanks a lot!

By the way, what's up with some subtitles sticking around for most of the episode until that line is said way later? Is there a timing issue?

Good lord the music that played from the 00's drives snapping forwards until he'd taken out the GN-XIII was fucking kickass. I for one welcome our new melee gundam overlord, hope that having to use trans-am to start it was just a one time thing and now the drives are synched up for a normal startup.

Regene's voice is delicious.

Heh I love it when they actually use plans when fighting in Gundam instead of just charging straight in there confident that your uber gundam will protect you from everything.

The plan was solid, and everyone executed their tasks well. However my favorite part was watching 00 and Arios double team the A-laws, while Seravee finished them off.

CB is going to have to play things a lot smarter this time, as the A-laws have closed the tech gap of the previous season. Even worse, they manage to capture Kyrios. Who knows what they may have learned from reverse engineering that Gundam.
