New idea.
Keitaro is like Kunitoshi from
AIKI.

Life seemed to be going well for Keitaro; he had finally entered Toudai and his tenants had warmed up to him to the point where they didnÆt want to slice him into tiny pieces. But life never seemed to go smoothly for him for very long...
Having completed his latest homework assignment, the young man decided to take a refreshment break and made his way to the kitchen. As he passed the telephone, it started to ring, surprising him.
ôHello?ö
ô¼Ah, Keitaro, I wanted to speak to you.¼ö
ôWhatÆs up, Dad?ö Keitaro replied, not expecting his father to call him.
ô¼It seems that Kanako-chan has caused a little bother.¼ö
ôKanako-chanÆs in trouble? But she was always a good girl. What do you need me to do?ö
ô¼SheÆs not in danger, Keitaro, itÆs more that, how can I put it? SheÆs said something she shouldnÆt have.¼ö
ôDad, we all say things we shouldnÆt û itÆs part of being human. Did she say something to upset somebody?ö Keitaro asked. ôBecause that doesnÆt sound like Kanako-chan at all.ö
ô¼Think less insulting, more stirring up the ghosts of the past,¼ö the older man said. ô¼Kanako-chan told people about your past as a legendary martial artist.¼ö
KeitaroÆs head shot up. ôShe what? Well à actually, thatÆs not a huge problem. No-one will believe her when they meet -ö
ô¼SheÆs showed people the photos, Keitaro.¼ö
KeitaroÆs face fell. ôWhich photos?ö
ô¼All of them. Some of them didnÆt return.¼ö
ôNow what do we do?ö the bespectacled youth whined. He started to pace back and forth as he tried to figure out a plan of action.
ô¼We tell people that what Kanako told people is a lie.¼ö
ôDoes the name Kenta Kobayashi ring any bells?ö
ô¼àYou may have a point there, son.¼ö
ôKanako-chan has signed my death warrant,ö Keitaro sighed. ôIf Kobayashi finds me so much as breathing normally, IÆm going to die.ö
ô¼I suppose that there is something we can do,¼ö the elder Urashima said. ô¼But it is risky. How do you feel about having your limiter removed?¼ö
ôThings could get messy, Dad. IÆll need to think it over. IÆll call you back later today, ok?ö
ô¼Ok, Son.¼ö

At dinner, Keitaro asked for everyoneÆs attention.
ôEverybody, thereÆs something I need to talk to you all about.ö
ôOh?ö Kitsune asked. ôWhatÆs up? YouÆre not raising the rent, are you?ö
ôNo, itÆs nothing to do with money, Kitsune,ö Keitaro said with a smile. He took a deep breath. ôIt is however to do with me and my past. Ià, how should I put it?ö
ôYou can tell us, Sempai,ö Shinobu smiled. ôNo matter what it is, weÆll support you.ö
ôYou say that now. Ok, hereÆs the thing: I used to be a martial artist. Yes, I know, IÆm horrendously clumsy and uncoordinated. But back in the day, I used to be quite good.ö
ôThat does explain certain physical traits,ö Motoko nodded. ôWhat happened? Why did you let your skills wither?ö
ôItÆs an awkward and embarrassing story. Looking back, I understand why they had to do what they did. æTheyÆ in this case includes my family. I was arrogant because I was damned near invincible and because I was so good, people would come from far and wide to challenge me.ö
ôThen what happened?ö the kendoist asked.
ôYou would skin me alive if I told you the details, Motoko. I thought what I was doing was normal, but with hindsight, I would have taken the same course of action,ö Keitaro smiled. ôBut the upshot is that I had a limiter put on me and I became the bumbling fool you standing before you. I was enjoying the quiet life when my Dad called me up earlier today with some bad news.ö
ôWhat kind of bad news?ö Naru asked.
ôApparently, my sister told some people about my past.ö
ôThat doesnÆt seem so bad, Keitaro,ö Kitsune replied. ôI mean, itÆs hard to believe that you were ever a martial artist.ö
ôI agree. However, there are some photographs of me in action that have been made public,ö the bespectacled man added. ôPhotos where IÆm punching holes in cars.ö
ôàö
ôThis is a joke, right, Keitaro?ö Naru scoffed.
ôI wish it was, Naru-chan. Oh, how I wish it was.ö
ôWait a minute, I think I remember hearing something about a martial artist prodigy that had to retire,ö Motoko spoke up. ôSomething about him having burned himself out?ö
ôThatÆs what we told people, Motoko-chan. I had nearly ten years of relatively peaceful nights. You know, the kind where people donÆt try to kill you in your sleep for touching their sisà err, never mind that last bit,ö Keitaro coughed into his fist. ôAnyway, I know this all sounds crazy and I really hope that nothing happens, but I had to say something.ö
ôWeÆll let you know if we see something out of the ordinary, Keitaro,ö Kitsune smiled. ôNow, letÆs eat up before dinner gets cold.ö

Something like that.
Could have much perversion as his limiter is removed and Tsuruko may or may not be interested in challenging such a legendary martial artist.
I don't know these days.
