Random thought about Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: is there any fic where Tatsuya and Miyuki only pretend to be siblings but are actually lovers, maybe under the assumption posing as siblings would draw less attention?

I've suggested it before in a Loop snippet, and somebody actually did it but as a short, but a fic about Lelouch, Light Yagami, L and Aizen Sousuke playing a full campaign of Dungeon and Dragons would be massively epic. Imagine being the GM at that table.

(I'd write it but I haven't done enough D&D to be able to sufficiently munchkin for the readers' entertainment)

How about having David Xanatos GM? He's one of the few that I don't think would be utterly overwhelmed, and has more of a sense of fun than most versions of Bruce Wayne.

Sounds good to me.

Someone do it!

Yo. Idea for Hunter x Hunter. I know old show but who cares. Actually have a thought about an OC.

Hisoka's backstory was never explained in any form of the show or manga. I'm thinking either use an OC to tell the story of Hisoka's first time at the exam or add the OC to the canon exam and explore his personality and history through those events. If you'll recall, there were a bunch of scenes where he sits by himself doing nothing. I feel those could be filled with conversations that reveal more about him.
I'd make sure the OC doesn't turn into a romantic interest because we all know that Hisoka has never and will never have romance on his mind.

Thoughts?

Hellsing/Dance in the Vampire Bund

Wilhemina Tepes learns of Millenium's plans, and realizes that if it even comes close to completion, it will be centuries before people forget the horrors that the Major's men inflicted. Centuries in which her dream of a Vampire Bund and human-vampire coexistence will be impossible, no matter how much money she throws at it. Centuries in which she will remain vulnerable to the Three Great Clans that killed her mother. There is only one possible solution.

The Queen of the Vampires is riding to the aid of the most notorious vampire-hunting family in history. Will Mina be able to get Integra to accept that her people have actually come to help?

I'm seeking to figure out at which point in the Hellsing time does this occur.

Mina's forces would have to arrive in London before the 9th Crusade does at the latest (Ideally before Penwood's command center fell) for it to have it to have the desired political impact.

Vampires come to destroy England... but other vampires arrive to try to save it, while the Vatican seeks to destroy it. And Alucard could arguably be claimed to be a Tepes, making him a mid-ranked member of the relief force under Bund logic.

Thinking about Hellsing and the 9th Crusade, I wonder what the global political consequences would have been in canon. I could see the British being more than a bit cold towards the Vatican and perhaps Italy in general, and maybe even the rest of the EU, for example.

Honestly tempted to write a major-length Death Note fic.

The general deviation would come from "What if Light was more moral than in canon and absolutely insisted on not killing the innocent?"

He wouldn't kill Lind L. Taylor (he almost would in a fit of temper just to show he's still arrogant), so while L still thinks he's in Japan, he would have trouble narrowing Kira down any further.

L would get his big break when Misa sends in her tapes, since Rem would have told Misa the other Death Note was dropped in Japan. Light then has to find Misa quicker than L does, and once he does, he has to prevent Misa from getting arrested and executed in order to avoid death at Rem's hands, all while keeping to his more rigid code.

Another idea I had, this one for a short possibly one-shot, would be a fic where Light isn't Kira, but still teams up with L to find Kira. They do, but L loses his life in the process (possibly doing a 23-day gambit like in the movie). L names Light his successor and Light goes to Wammy House with the still-living Watari and takes over, probably meets an older female student and proceed to have hyper-intelligent kids.

Cross posting an idea form the love hina section.

Ever seen "Cabin in the Woods"? Go watch it, i'll wait.

Back? Badass wasn't it? Now, what if, just like horror movies, anime was similarly a setup, instigated by some shadowy secret organization, to appease some ancient, malevolent force?

For example, Take love hina. The dorm could be a stand in for 'the cabin', and the random adventures? Carefully planed events for the most part, to push the 'story'. The retcons, plot armor, etc? All ways to ensure the scenario plays out per the rituals requirements.

Another example: Oreimo. Why the change in love interests multiple times, the sudden acceptance of blood incest, the sudden ending of relationships, characterization shifts, etc? All manipulation by the organization to appease the ancient one in question.

But why stop there? Pretty much any modern set anime or manga could just as easily be a ritual. The Genres tropes turn into 'rules' for the ritual. Rituals that fail, or go off course get 'canceled' abruptly, just like many shows or manga just sort of end rapidly.

Etc and so forth.

Any 'cabin' story would have to keep in mind three layers:

The stories cast: the characters of the original series, who lives are being manipulated as part of the ritual.

The organization: in effect, this would be the analog to the fanfic author, and the original author/director/mangaka, etc. In the movie, they were an along to hollywood itself. It could be possible in some fics or stories that the organization is directly working with, or consists of, characters inside the original story itself.

The ancient malevolence: Those who cries out for blood, so to speak, and whom must be appeased. They are really, symbolic of the reader/viewer, and their ever changing tastes.

Aaroniero Arruruerie, Setsuna Meiou and Tieria Erde all meet up. They then fight to become the true 'Vowels' character, while the latter two try to grab some of Aaroniero's r's while they're at it.

In Dragon Ball Z, there's no reason to my knowledge that Dende couldn't heal Goku post-Ginyu fight. So maybe what could happen is when Dende reunites with Krillin and Gohan, they are better at exchanging information and get the idea for Dende to heal Goku with his new healing powers.

Goku steps out, and curbstomps Frieza's first form.

The real conflict of the fic I think would be for King Kai (through his telepathic link), Gohan, Krillin and Dende all trying to get Goku to kill Frieza NOW, because Frieza's an absolute horrific genocidal galaxy-killing monster, instead of letting Frieza power up through his forms so Goku gets to fight his opponent at his strongest once again.

A RWBY - Fairy Tail Crossover where Jaune is a Dragon Slayer. It doesn't matter what his element is or what his power level is or whether he has the least bit of training as a Huntsman; just that he be a Dragon Slayer. (Whether he still has seven sisters as in canon or all of his family was dead before a Dragon took him in is also not something I intend to decide immediately.)

I got that idea when I thought of characters with extreme motion sickness; Dragon Slayer!Jaune should have it worse than all of them, though. Mostly humor, having fun giving someone already prone to motion sickness the worst power (side-effect-wise) imaginable, then sticking them with constant airship/Bullhead/ship/train/etc. travel.

Though if anyone wants an adventure story where Jaune is trained as something other than a Huntsman (hopefully still clueless about the actual Huntsman thing), then goes to Beacon, and doesn't much care about the humor of the Vomit Boy being tormented, be my guest. :p

Gurren Lagann Thought:

What ever happened to the other three members of the original Team Gurren? Those three guys that ditched Kamina so they could get dinner, what do you think happened to them? After Kamina revealed the truth, how did they feel about abandoning him? Once humanity was freed, did they regret abandoning the savior of their race?

Probably not much more than a one shot, but I'm curious about how those three dealt with their failure to support Kamina and Simon.

Does that really need to be a crossover with the Nasuverse? You don't have to make that a Sorcery Trait.

Here's an idea to explore:

In the beginning of everything, three golden goddesses descended upon the primordial chaos and shaped it into a world. Din, the Goddess of Power, created the material world. Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom, turned it into a realm of law and order, and Farore, the Goddess of Courage, seeded it with life. With their labors completed, the three departed for the heavens, leaving behind a small token of their essence, the omnipotent wish-granting gold of the gods, the Triforce. And to keep this sacred power protected, they entrusted it, and the world they had created, into the care of three goddesses.

Their names were Hylia... Eris... and Aqua.

Here's an idea for HighSchool DxD:

Issei is the reincarnation of the biblical god. I don't remember seeing that before, only crossover characters such as Naruto and Harry Potter.

At first, everyone (including the readers and Issei, as soon as he gets an explanation of the supernatural) probably thinks he's just a two-winged Angel, but when he resurrects Asia into an Angel without Brave Saint cards and is empowered by her prayers, gaining an extra pair of wings, people start putting two and two together.

"Man, I was such a prude in my previous life!" Issei said.

"Quite," Michael said, a grimace on his face for the first time in centuries, according to Issei's 'Godly' memories.

"Oh, don't be like that Michael. I'm simply stating the truth," Issei said, grinning a bit.

"If only you did not sound like Azazel in the process," Michael said, sighing.

-----

"Father!" Said a very beautiful, blond haired woman with green eyes similar to Asia's who had a pair of huge tits-

Yeah, that's the important part, Issei! He thought to himself, only to find himself getting a face full of that heavenly valley.

The woman kept repeating the word 'Father', and Issei was getting worried she might not be all there; or at least he did until he truly realized what position he was in. Then, his nose started bleeding.

"Oh no! Father, what's wrong!? Did I hug you too tight?" The woman said, twelve white wings on display. Then, she noticed Issei's 'little friend', which was not so little anymore.

"Geez Father, did you have to turn into a perv? It's one extreme or the other with you. At least, it explains why Angels no longer Fall for the sin of Lust or related sins," the Angel (?) said with a mildly annoyed expression, not as much of an airhead as she had seemed to be.

Edit: by the way, he doesn't start out as anywhere near 'godlike' (lol), nor does he have a Sacred Gear.

Edit 3/27: Being the original Lucifer would work just as well, and might be a more interesting personality. With an ability of turning others into pure-blooded devils to boot*, and with the Boosted Gear to allow him to eventually match and surpass his son Rizevim, and Sirzechs too. So NO, he won't be more powerful than the Super Devils without his Sacred Gear. (I'm looking at various fanfic authors when saying this.)

*He did turn his followers into devils too, didn't he? And Lilith.

If he reincarnated as a human I don't see why he wouldn't have a Sacred Gear. Those are the rules he set up, after all...

Too OP too soon. He's an 'Angel' who will end up with twelve wings before long. Besides, I want Asia to have the Boosted Gear (her healing ability is naturally hers, or maybe she has both Gears?*)

*IIRC, being born with a Longinus means you can't have another SG at the same time, but I'm not certain.

(Issei turns into something resembling an Angel when he comes into contact with Raynare's Light Spears.)
