the only way I see someone doing that is if somehow Shamal used her mirror of travels to redirect it. not sure it would work though since we don't know if it would go through or destroy the mirror of travels.

Or one of them could copy one of Yuuno's technique: Force transport Nanoha into her own beam.

Or have an origin that allows them to alter the direction of movement of certain things like Sakanade (left is right and right is left, so targeting your enemy is pretty much targeting you)...

Y'know, real bros cry inwards and all that crap...

Nah,bro.Just use his barrier to alter trajectory of the beam or Have OP ability like ACCELERATOR from To Aru series ...AUTO DEFLECT ALL THE WAY!!

Well, Yuuno probably has the brains to pull it off, with some practice.

I don't know.
Accelerator power was too OP that the author had to nerf him to being able
to use his powerfor 30 min max and walk using a crutch when not using it

If he really can pull it off, that will be OP.Then again we don't have to worry about Yuuno being nerf because even nanoha was OP for being able to fight Reinforce I without seriously injured herself and the Author didn't even NERF her, right?

Wait...

There was that accident prior to Strikers...

You remember all those spells other mages need in order to pull of most spells? The spell's that require higher level equations? Yuuno does them in his head. If anybody could do it, it's him.

You mean devices right?Other mages need Devices to dohigh Level equation for spells
while Yuuno can pull it off without any device. This is his specialty. This ability make him more "dangerous" than other mages. This is what put him on a territory of magic that no mages during his era except him that able to touch this territory...

If only He had that "Tenshi" power ,he would be OP!!

P.S: Can Yuuno just use the pressure of his barrier to "destroy" his opponents?Like
crush them or squish them under high pressure?

Or he could just trap his opponents in the barrier than teleport the Oxigen inside to the outside of his barrier?KIlling them slowly by suffocating...MuaHaHa!

Deflect has limits and if they are too high might actually be called out for being overpowered. This one is a limited use ability that means two year less from you life expectancy.

Meh, I bet the guy already knows how to, but that hasn't come in handy so far.

That accident was her overusing pressure mode and probably taking some of her nerves and blood vessels down with her. Think Shirou using Crane Wing in Heaven's Feel and falling comatose. The difference is that Nanoha recovers, Shirou is eventually announced as being in a permanent vegetative state and taken off life support.

Let's give Yuuno a device for Pete's sake and see where things go. I'm willing to bet his rank is higher than Nanoha's by StrikerS.

By that logic, Yuuno could just teleport anything he doesn't like to a black hole and leave it at that.

He isn't Zaheer!

May it did come in handy when he was reorganizing the IL. There were books that attacked people there after all.

Again, a device would only help him cast spells faster. You know how Nanoha became an S+ rank mage? She trained long and hard.

You also forgot they make casting EASIER. So high ranking spells become easier for Yuuno to use.

Also, I keep hearing this stuff about SOMETHING in the Infinite Library being dangerous. So far, the list includes disembodied tentacles, books that attack people and... an orange orangutan...

What does canon say about it?

Vivid states that the IL has some books that have active defense programs in the still unorganized places and there were incidents of people getting attacked by said books, so that part is true. Also, you can get lost inside if you wander too far.

I feel as if the orange orangutan is a reference for something.

@Amaranth,I'm sorry for not explain it clearly. When I said he teleport the oxygen inside the barrier to outside,I meant he switch the oxygen inside with other gas like Nitrogen/CO2 from outside.

I don't think that is how it work.Black hole isn't something that you see everyday in daily life.He also need to know the coordinate/do some pretty complicated calculation for something that unusual.I don't think Yuuno would do something stupid like that.

For example,he doesn't like trash(literally),you think he just teleport it to Black Hole?

Mind telling me who Zaheer is ?

Does mages rank have anything to do with how powerful a mage is?I don't really know...

One question remain in my mind...Does Yuuno really in love with Nanoha?

A Terry Pratchett reference, likely.

Zaheer is the villain from the third season of Legend of Korra, who becomes an airbender after the events of second season, and famously uses airbending to suffocate the Earth Queen by forming a bubble around her head and bending the air out of her lungs.

And as far as teleporting...they do forcibly teleport the Defense Program into space to be shot with L'arc en Ciel in A's. So there's things like that. Or the theoretical "teleport only his head" method.

For books with their own defense systems...BoD might be the most extreme example, but it also destroyed worlds whenever it went off. Even scaled down for lesser objects, those other books could be serious business.

A Barrier Suit likely has safeguards against that and can filter or recycle CO2. He'd have to overwrite that, which isn't anywhere near as easy as you'd think.

As for love.... he probably was, but after 10+ years with no advancements on that front...

It's still unnecessary violence.

Find the coordinates to one (they hardly "move" anyways) and load it up into a device.

And Zaheer is a terrorist from Avatar: The Legend of Korra.

Hmm, may be.

Oh, the attack of the homicidal books? I like that... For some reason though, it reminds me of Castlevania SotN. What with the flying tomes that rained swords on you or cast spells on your sorry arse...

He needs to train with Hachi (the Visored, retired Kido Corps chief from Bleach) to be able to behead anything at will.

Also, Zaheer did it with the eponymous Avatar as well...

That reminds of that fic where Yuuno's getting married, and Nanoha's thoughts on not even knowing he was dating.

is it the one with the alternate ending where Nanoha "befriends" the bride and shows up at the altar instead of her?

Yeah, that was it. I can't remember the name though.

Is it a bad idea to write a nanoha fic with a different set of laws of magic other than the one in nanoverse?
