... Come on people, read the full opening post, confirm/second is for the person who was nominated, don't do it unless you are confirming for yourself. Shiro asked us to do this simply, so try not to clutter it up with repeats too.
I will admit I typo'd by forgretting to remove the word Confirming though, Confirm is for when you're nominated, Seconding is for seconding someone else's nomination.
Confirming my nomination by a bunch of people. Hey, if you guys are crazy enough to WANT me, I'll do it. Just keep in mind my hours are funky - I'm usually up when everyone else is asleep, being Euroland and all.

Have fun.
EDIT: Also, seconding chronodekar as mod. He's level headed, he'd do a good job.

I think we may be using the Confirming/Seconding wrong guys. For example, I believe Confirming was meant to be used by the Nominee themselves and Seconding was to be used when someone nominated themselves.
Alright. In accordance with our desire for efficiency, which would reduce clutter in the thread, I've made this post announcing that I'm going to edit my posts to be more in line with my interpretations of the OP.

Just to be sure people understand, the candidate only needs one Nomination and a either a Confirmation (from the candidate if nominated by someone other than themselves) or a Seconding (if they nominated themselves).

If someone has already been nominated and confirmed/seconded, don't post for them again- it adds nothing and only clutters the thread.
I feel kinda awkward nominating myself, but let's see how this plays out. Looks like most of the people I would support have already been nominated as well, so nothing else to add right now, though I'll have to go back to find the "Perfect Storm" layout for moderators...
