Notice the bold print of her reply. She's definitely thinking of something very inappropriate. :p
Like what she is going exactly to "eat" to the lunch hour?

He was a little surprised that she decided to sit right next to him, despite the other side of the table being clearly empty.

But perhaps she wanted to talk to him about teaching things, he thought innocently.

"So have you found a place to stay yet?"

He shook his head a little sadly.

"It seems that most of the housing close to the main campus is being taken by the students and other faculty members."

She nodded sympathetically. He could smell the faint sweetness of her jasmine perfume as her hand accidentally brushed against his own.

"And of course you couldn't possibly room with the students in the dorms, that just wouldn't be proper."

He nodded vigorously in agreement. The memory of what she'd done to the Principal for that particular suggestion was still vividly fresh in his mind.

"I was thinking of asking Takahata if he would let me board with him temporarily until I can find a place of my own."

"NO-I mean no, that just won't do."

He'd looked up in surprise at her sudden outburst, but she seemed to have recovered herself.
However Negi just felt so grateful that she was obviously trying to help him as an experienced
senior staffer to a fresh beginner.

Ah, Negi. So Naive. Will we have Anya having done the thing in that one fanfic (which I can't remember the name of) where she screws him then erases his mind?

As for the update, awesome.

I'd say pathetic actually. There isn't enough to tell if there's any actual quality. No quantity, and no way to verify the quality. At least wait until you have a full page.

I don't know why people think that. I'm just saying that I don't like this story because the snippet's are too short to be amusing. There isn't enough to make me happy there was an update. There isn't even enough to make me remember what the story is about.

That is why you put the snippets together in your mind, and together they make up a page or two of material that makes sense.

Maybe because you're as blunt as a Super-MAC Round to the 'nads?

He has a point, though. With updates that small, it's hard to get an impression of a fic.

The problem is that I think he does it on purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if he has the whole chapter out but releases bits and peieces on a schedule that only he is privy to.

"However fine an educator he may be, Takahata's room on campus is barely big enough for one, let alone two men."

The young teacher from Wales felt immensely flattered by her considering him a man.

"Oh, in that case maybe one of the other teachers has a spare room available."

Shizuna brightened.

"As a matter of fact-"

The door to the break room opened.

"Oh, you're here Shizuna-sensei."

A tall beauty with long light blonde hair stood there in the entrance, her sleek white business style woman's suit
with a short black skirt drawing attention to the flawless trim bare legs which seemed to go on forever.

"Kuzuha-sensei. How...nice to see you."

For just a brief moment, Negi got the sudden impression that there was a cat in the immediate vicinity that had just reared up and hissed loudly.

He looked in puzzlement around the room but could spot no sign of it.

"Ah, you must be the rumored new transfer teacher."

Negi felt ashamed of himself for forgetting his manners.

"Yes, I'm Negi Springfield. I'm very pleased to meet you."

"The feeling I assure you is mutual. I'm Kuzuha Touko, teaching class 4C."

The dazzling smile she flashed at him made the young teacher happy that he'd apparently made a good first impression with her.

"Is this table free?"

It seemed such an odd question to ask since there was only him and Miss Minamoto sitting there together on one side.

"As a matter of fact-" Shizuna began but found herself beaten to the punch by Negi's simple response.

"Yes. Would you like to join us?"

The busty teacher bit back a small groan of defeat that went unnoticed by the innocent Springfield.

Touko shot her a brief look of triumph that vanished almost instantly as she coyly made herself
comfortable on Negi's other side, much to his apparent confusion.

Shizuna fought back another groan as she decided to get back to the subject at hand before something else could interfere.

"Since you're looking for a place to stay-"

"You could board at my house." Kuzuha cut in smoothly.

Negi looked toward Touko-sensei with wide shining eyes and she was suddenly embarrassed to find herself flushing like a
teenager on a first date as those wonderous lustrous orbs seemed to fill her entire universe with the promise of pleasure eternal.

Perhaps he should look into the possibilities of sleeping on the roof.

Or maybe the park. He'd probably be just as safe.

Nah, he needs to learn how to sleep while flying on his staff.
