And damn, Yue IS hot.
Oh man, i'm loving older Yue, she grew out nicely.
Does her fighting style remind you of something(somebody more like). B)

The fact that she boosts her magic by drinking stuff is a laugh.
Fits her character, she's been drinking odd things since day 1. She even had a juice box on her desk when the kids came in.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I want to see Magical Detective Yue as a full series. It would be a more light hearted and ettchi version of something like the Dresden files. Yue traveling the world, battling magic monsters and rogue mages, trying to track down loads on this or that, and solving cases as she tries to break into her dream job working with Negi (and Nodoka, I assume).

Going from a harem action series to a supernatural detective comedy would be an interesting change from his previous works. Could also allow him to fill in the blanks as to what happened to various characters, Negi's mother, the lifemaker, etc.

Various Shout outs in this chapter.

You don't need to remember that- Kamen Rider Decade.

Dragon tooth warriors- Percy Jackson.

Never heard of Percy Jackson, but those are far more likely to be the based on the bit of Greek mythology where Jason had to sow a field with dragon teeth, which then sprouted into warriors. They were interpreted in Fate/stay night as skeletons, but I can't remember if they were those in the old tales too.

A voice in my head screamed out 'Dresden!' when I saw the Detective Agency.
Which is why 'Magical Detective Yue' would be such an awesome series.

As long as she doesn't meet any White Court vampires...

No, they weren't.

There were also shown like that in the movie 'Jason and the Argonauts' but in the actual myth, they were human formed. In fact, some of the dragon teeth were sown in another myth by a man named Cadmus, and the warriors that came from them fathered children eventually.

Thanks for clearing that up, my mythology is super rusty these days and I was falling asleep when I posted ^^;

BTW:

Percy Jackson is a children's book series, kind of like Harry Potter, where Percy (short for Perseus) discovers himself to be the demigod son of Poseidon, and has to go to a summer camp for demigods, and the adventures he has there.

The series involves a lot of Greco-Roman myths, the dragon teeth warriors included.

^ don't read it (Percy J.). You will regret it for multiple reasons.

Just read it (manga)again, when did Chichigami have 6 arms? Hmm, going to check that hot springs chapter again.

I quite liked it, even if it was lame at parts..

My friend loves it and near forced me to read them. They were alright, though certain parts were meh.

The Huntresses were one of the things that really aggravated me.

They were a bunch of immature little girls who either had a bad experience with a guy and never got over it or ran away from their responsibilities. In some ways, they remind me of Peter Pan.

The main character was remarkably stupid and they missed a lot of chances for awesomeness...but overall it wasn't bad.

And the second series so far is a hell of a lot better.

She didn't at that time, except for when she's trying to 'play' at being the 'goddess of breasts.'

Either she can grow and retract her extra arms when she wants, or the time in the hotsprings was just symbolic (like what we originally thought when we saw it) and her race grows extra arms later in life.

Yue really didn't develop well. She was supposed to be a massive prodigy. But she effectively lost to an outdated pervert. Besides that she was in super mode, a mode which puts her on a severe time limit.

I was not impressed.

Final chapter is out: <a href='http://mangahead.com/Manga-English-Scan/Mahou-Sensei-Negima/Mahou-Sensei-Negima-355-English-Scan' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>http://mangahead.com/Manga-English-Scan/Ma...55-English-Scan</a>

I won't lie, that was about what I expected when I heard it was ending so abruptly. Sadly the structure could have been far better, it was hard getting through that summary batch. :sweat2:

Doesn't seem to be any plans to continue it from what I saw, though who knows, there were two cases when he said that would be a future story, which considering Zazie sounds promising if it does fall through. As such needless to say still a disappointing ending.

Honestly if he was still planning to end it before the climax of the magic world arc, I'd have just put everything on the line then and have everything tie together nicely there in that sequence, rather than riding on the coattails of that and just petering out with these filler bits and having that being resolved offscreen. But meh, what can you do.

meh... honestly this feels like a suikoden ending where all you get is snippets of the characters.

i guess is fine in terms of what you could manage in 1 chapter but still it didn't tell you squat on how it transpired... also still have 0 clue what happened to his mom.

though kurt implied marrying hakase was a WTF moment if i saw one.
