I wonder how the attack on the elephant will go? Also - the big guy, Jack (guy going to kill big elephant) - whose underling was he? Kaido or Big Mom?

Jack is one of the top three lieutenants of Kaido, who seems to be trying to get all the Zoans.

Jack is one of the top three lieutenants of Kaido, who seems to be trying to get all the Zoans.

Zoans are the animal-type DF users, right?

It's interesting to know that the gang didn't need to navigate all the way to the last island according to the log poses. I'm looking forward to seeing them get to Raftel.

But asking Luffy to copy the ponygliph? Somehow, I don't see that happening. He'll probably ask someone else to do it or something, I wager.

Anyone else notice that Law and the Dog are not running, but holding their ground? I think it''s cool!

It's very interesting to see another who 'can listen to voice of all things' , if that is indeed the skill we are shown.

Like, wow! That IS a surprise. Good for Nami and it's been long since we've seen Vivi. Which group do you think she'll run into?

I think it will be against Luffy. He's going to a marriage organized by Big Mom. There are bound to be many big wigs present/invited to the event.

Question about Busoshoku Haki: I know that it involves effectively creating invisible armour around the user, or surrounding "attacks," be they ranged or melee, with a similar aura/armour that makes them stronger (and effect Logia users.)

So it can increase strength and durability, but does it increase speed? I can't remember it being explicitly shown that using Busoshoku Haki makes you faster.

If it does, it's probably situational and minor. Stuff like hardening sand to give you better traction on the beach similar to letting you hit a logia like Crocodile, or not slipping on ice, but your base speed is probably your base speed anyway, you'd need to do stuff like Soru to actually get much faster directly. Or seem faster using the prediction haki.

I suppose you could argue similar to how Roger's first mate bounced the elephant's attack of his hand, you could bounce yourself off the ground and get a boost that way, but that's not been shown directly so you'd be doing a lot of guess work there. I'd imagine that's harder to control though, and more a jump boost than a direct speed boost, though if applied correctly you could argue it's basically a Flash Step anyway.

Somehow, carrot doesn't seem to be the type to join them. She's on this trip as a one time thing. Unless she changes her mind drastically to the point of wanting to do the 'pirating' forever, she'll probably head back home after its over.

The revere meet-up is interesting. Wonder what will happen there?

About Blackbeard attacking the revolutionary army - I'm skeptical about it. They had strong fighters, I doubt if they would be taken down THAT easily. Even if it was Blackbeard, I'd think you'd need a considerable force to take down a crew Dragon collected. I mean, just look at the crew his son is gathering - why wouldn't he be able to gather a strong force too?

You're already assuming that the revolutionary army lost. I was asking whether or not they did. Given Blackbeard's current power, it wouldn't be too surprising if the first thing he did is to demolish the fortress using Whitebeard's powers. Besides, we can always assume that Blackbeard already has a considerable force that he gathered during the timeskip. They did beat Marco and the remaining Whitebeard Pirates, after all.

However, as you stated, the revolutionary army is no pushover. Dragon, for one, is definitely "the world's most wanted man" for a good reason..

My prediction now: The final fight of this arc is Luffy vs. Sanji. Sanji doesn't want to leave his wife, Luffy doesn't get it until they exchange blows.

Then the wife reveals that she can be the 10th crewman, and everything works out.

I expect it to go precisely nowhere, given Oda's stated position on romance in One Piece. Optionally, there will be a bait and switch of some kind. Either the picture is misleading somehow (it's several years old or something) or Sanji gets rejected for some silly reason, like that she's only into heavily overweight men.
