Here's the chapter link,

Sanji's right about one thing - the crew is really missing his cooking. Also, his ability to provision food over a period of time.

Looking at the bit where the pirate is breathing underwater (and stuck), I'm wondering - if a fishman were to eat a devil fruit, will they drown in the sea? I mean, their natural gills should keep them alright, right?

And coming back to Sanji ... he's already met many attractive women over the course of the manga, but hasn't done anything to court anyone. I mean, he does cook special stuff for them, but I don't recall him ever asking anyone out on a date or any romantic pursuit.

My prediction: his wife has some kind of secret trauma (or just something hidden and dark) that weighs her down. Sanji someone fixes this and she falls in love with him - but also sees that he'd much rather spend time with the straw-hat crew, that she wouldn't tie him down. Besides, Sanji is still searching for the All Blue.

As for the idea of his potential wife joining the crew - too unlikely. A lot of the Sanji-related romantic comedy works because he's an available bachelor. If a confirmed love-interest were to join the crew, it would spoil a lot of the fun in reading the manga, IMO.

I think we had that situation with Vanderdekken or whatever his name was. They can still breath, but the sea renders them weak and immobile so they can only stay where they are

I didn't expect to see the mother of that pig-shadow pirate! That was interesting.

Do you think Sanji's family are as female-attracted as our cook? I'm split 50-50 on the matter.

Seems Sanji's lust for women is genetic.
On one hand, that's funny. On the other hand, there go all the theories of Sanji having some sad past, causing him to empathise with women ...

And why's Jimbei back? I thought we were done with him at the Fishman arc.

...And elsewhere in the seas, both Sanji and Hancock felt a strong need to kill someone...

Really, though, colorcoded and special tech, Sanji's fmaily might be Power Rangers.

The chapter, she is up.

I think we just met Sanji's fiancee.

Also never change Brook.
Good Heavens! Even by the One Piece standards, this one was a bit too much for me! Waay too closely similar to some old Disney movies for my comfort! Literally, takes the cake!!!!

Hmm.. we haven't met anyone else going to be married, so yeah, it makes some sense that this could be his bride. But her art style .. looks a lot like Nami. In fact, I thought it was the navigator in disguise when I saw the panel!

I could see Sanji being cool with marrying a woman as into baking/chocolate as he is into cooking.

But she'd have to be cool enough with him off in a pirate crew or joining it herself, I guess.

However, it may be a red herring, because wouldn't everyone know that she's one of Big Mom's daughters? No one reacted in any way special that you'd think they would if someone ate one of Big Mom's daughter's businesses.

That was an incredible chapter, and I'm more sure than ever we've found the tenth member of the crew.

I don't know. Pretty sure Jinbei was going to be the 10th. He actually said he was going to join later, he just has stuff to do before then.

Pretty sure if Sanji doesn't marry her, Luffy will

Considering what happened with Hancock, I think Luffy is deliberately avoiding any romantic relationships - at least till he becomes Pirate King.

And, now that you mention it, there is some amount of sense to Sanji marrying a fellow baker/cook. No idea what she thinks about pirates, but it would be an interesting match-up. Also, I'll be a hell of a lot impressed if she actually joins the straw hats as Sanji's wife. He'll need to tone down his womanizing and it will be interesting to see where things go.

Speaking about 'last' member of the crew, if memory serves correctly, Luffy was kind-of wishy-washing about the crew strength back at the beginning of the series. So, if circumstances come about for a 11th or 12th recruit, I don't think he'd say no. But it probably won't go over that.

Luffy marrying her has nothing to do with romance, it has everything to do with Food though. Though, by that thinking, Chopper might marry her instead (He is the Cotton Candy Lover)

Lazy Bastard...
Chapter's up.

Huh, called it.  Might also have confirmation that Lola is one of Big Mom's daughters as well.

And somehow that's not the biggest shock of the chapter.

That you did. That you did. Good call!

Have to say, I'm as shocked as the crew to hear that he turned down the girl. And she seems sensible. Perhaps we'll eventually see an alternate groom for her?

...Wow, she has a big family...

Seriously, though, is Big Mom just damned old or is she just never not pregnant? Would be a bit of a laugh if she was just always so tough (And hungry) because she's always preggers and protecting the baby within

...it took me a while, but once I went through it again, something struck me as REALLY weird.

Sanji is shown a picture of his soon-to-be wife, and he reacts accordingly because she's 100% babe. So far, nothing unusual.

And now we hear the bride say she's A-OK with the marriage...because Sanji was good looking, liked her chocolate cooking and was loyal to his crew, so he couldn't marry her.

Does this chain of events strike as odd to anyone? Sanji's reaction, to me, is pretty typical, but at no point do you get the feel that he *knows* her.

My bet...someone in the Vinsmoke family is making a play here, and they used Sanji as the piece to get it. What they are after is anyone's guess, but since they are a family of assassin's...the mind boggles.

If you are asking about Sanji's rejection to the marriage - it makes sense to me. Try looking at it this way - regardless of the potential girl's character, Sanji knows that after the marriage he's going to have to leave the Strawhat crew. He can't go voyaging around the world as a pirate and expect his wife to stay safe at home. The marriage is highly publicised. Anyone who has a grudge against Sanji can easily target his wife. He's not the kind of guy to leave her protection to someone else.

So, him saying no - fits. It's probably NOT something he wants to do, but considering the circumstances, understandable.

As for someone else making a play - very possible. We haven't been introduced to enough of the Vinsmoke family to figure out who, but it is very possible.

*fist meets own head* Should have been more specific.

The bride seems to have, based on the chapter, *met* Sanji, face to face, and even talked to him.

Sanji, based on everything that has happened so far, *hasn't* met her and he was dead set on saying no *before* he was shown the picture of the bride.

So, based on *that*, *if* Sanji had met this girl before he rejoined the Strawhat crew...he wouldn't have had such a...blatant reaction to her picture.
