Yeah, I read you. And I really hope that Shindo Hikaru or Touya Akira doesn't fall to The YAOI side, cause their tactical and strategical ability???? :ph43r:? :ph43r:

Hmmmm, maybe They can be lured to TFF side. with the promise to PURGE the 'verse of SH/TA story.
It's too late, they're the pets of Sai, one of the Princes of YAOI.
Really?

:ph43r: :ph43r: :ph43r:

Oh shoot.

I move to get someone to assasinate them. Like I said, their lvl of Tactical and Strategical thinking is .... scary.
Well... still, you'll need to consider Sai, the one who brought those two together and manipulated them for his evil dreams of Mpreg to bring about the one of the CHOSEN ONES of the YAOI.

Think about it. A pure yaoitype. The newtypes would be obsolete compared to them.

transmission from F:

i have discovered one of the major bases of yaoi codenamed Base M. despite being such an important location it is the opposite of impregnable, but only through the back. security is <s>extremely lax</s> nonexistant in that area. once in there will be a map on the left wall that will show the layout of the area

follow the map and make way to the section-c, the control room while avoiding conflict as much as possible or be caught instantly.

once in the room, take out those within the room and quickly escape by using a plasma based weapon to melt the west facing wall and get the hell out of there.

i've arranged transport back home for whoever should undertake this mission 100 miles from the base, but be warned, there's only enough room for 3 people

F out

Questions? Weren't those directed at someone else? I don't remember Force Equalizing Tech, merely the nullifiers for Plot-Induced Stupidity. There is the bomb to corrode Plot Armor, but that's still in development. Until then, burn teh ghey with sheer Awesome. ^_^
Uhm...I meant the questions below NINJA EDIT, in this post here. The ones about Good Sheppard's tech specs, the inertial dampeners vs. inertial canceller thing, psychotronic systems, and additional traditional Bolo dialouge.

Sorry it took so long to respond. If it helps, the main and current distraction is re-reading Shinji and Warhammer40k, before I catch up on the three most recent chapters, which I missed.

ust a couple questions/nitpicking points. First, are you including Psychotronic Bolo/Commander linkage? It's pretty damn effective, although I could see it being taken out if you're worried about the whole corruption/berserker aspect rendering the pair vulnerable to YAOI/CANON subversion...
The linkage will still be used, since both minds protect each other. It's the surest way to get through Plot-Induced Stupidity. Berserking Bolos isn't so much a problem since, well... as long as you get it pointed at the enemy, it's still good. Remember we do work with Khornate berserkers already.

Bolos are gender-neutral, after all, even if their voices may be male or female.

Did you mean dampeners, or are they re-named in favor of better/different tech?
Inertia cancellers are what Gunbuster uses: ref, episode IV of the OAV in which Noriko adjusts it to full as she prepares to catch the alien carrier. Of course, it might just be a translation issue.

First, any chance of detailed tech specs for the Mk. XXXVI, with additionals to detail modifications to Good Sheppard? Second...Are you going to work in the traditional references to the Enemy, hallmark of the Bolo battle thought-process?

I am Bolo, Mark XXXVI/S of The Line, Tactical Mobile Command Bolo variation.

This means I am a 'lightened' variant of the mark 36 hull. I now contain a mech
hangar, launchers and mobile support facilities; at sacrifice of offensive power. I still
have three 250cm Hellbores, but now only in two turrets; a central pair of cannons
and a forward ball turret with greater vertical traverse. My secondary guns have been
reduced from six Heavy Howitzers to two, and my Mortars from eight to four. My 30cm
Hellbores as Infinite Repeaters have likewise been reduced from twenty-four to sixteen.

My overall length has been reduced to improve my mobility, though now I stand taller. As
if I was not enough of a fire magnet before.

However, though my externals are diminished, my internal components have been...
expanded considerably. This is mostly due to the unabashed application of Fold Space
Properties, making my volume content entirely independent of my external measures.
In addition to holding within a fully-stocked hangar and repair bay, my power core and
shield reserves have been reinforced to proportionate capacities.

In short, as a Bolo, I am extremely tough. I still function as a Planetary Siege Unit, but
in a far more immediate role.

I trust you to use their services well.
Hm... slightly out of context here; I may assign them anywhere, right? Be it making contact with the resistance or participating in the first wave? I like the former, with Rukia freaking out the locals with her bunny fixation, but the character I'm writing is far away from the main action.

I can't let them tag along inside Good Shepherd simply because they won't fit; Destroids, Valkyries and all. It does have to carry an Eva, after all. There must be a limit to the Fold Space Adjustment, else we're running into a Bag Of Holding Paradox and a Carry Limit Wankery. ^_~

I might need another Bolo Commander.

Here's also another proposal.

Since there seems to be different 'realms of analogy' in this co-opfic, why not have even the approaches to the problem differ? Even in conventional military there are differences in strategic philosophy. Those who propose "conversion and re-assimilation" are seen as dangerously merciful and close to being corrupted, while the "nothing but total victory camp" might simply be biting off more than they could chew. A little intrigue might be good for the plot.

Then there is the portion of the war that acts like Divine Punnishment... ^_^

Wesker can make hordes of zombies and Rukia can talk to ghosts.

Can you say a strategy that resonates in harmony? Of course, as Commander, I DO NOT allow Wesker near Mad Scientist material.

Use them for the masses. Rukia... because I don't know what to do with her now, and still thinking for a scene that fits her (And Corporal Neville), so you get to use them for the time being until I can figure out what to do with them. Rukia has been a good instructor, but I think she needs some live action, and since my campaign is not very... hands on, I'm giving her to you for now.

Please don't break her too much.

Wesker wants action; a Destroid Squad's Lt Commander AND a budding mad scientist. I'm not a very offensive striker, and with your advertising, I'm sending him to you for the time being as well. Not good if you have a disgruntled maniac on your crew when you're carrying enough ammunition to wipe out planets.

They will keep me briefed on your progress, Commander, that is all.

Why would you use destroids if you have Bolos and Valks? B)

Oh the other hand... there IS the VB-6 K÷nig Monster. Big burley... and lots of firepower.

The Imperial Guardsmen were on the ropes.? That was the sentiment of the commissar, though the first soldier to bring it up was immediately executed.? There was no second soldier to bring it up.

Their own las-rifle fire blazed down the barren field, ricocheting and blasting all over the enemy's side of the battlefield, but to little effect.? In return, the foe was firing with deadly accuracy to devastating effect.? In fact, their psyker estimated that half of the company was dead and only a few of the enemy had bitten it - maybe ten percent.

He was close to giving up.? By the emperor, he had promised never to retreat!? But the battle was hopeless.

A flash of blue light from the enemy made him look closer.? At first, he thought it was some new weapon, sealing their fate, but instead the foe began to break, Dark Eldar scattering and falling around their strange allies, who only fell after the last Dark Eldar had gone.

Through the ashes strode a single, pale man, his skin appearing much like the Dark bastards' but clearly human.? The Commissar breathed a sigh of relief.

"By the Emperor, you arrived just on time.? How did the TFF know we needed help against these fucking perverts?"? The Commissar lit a cigarette.

The man's face scrunched in distaste.? "You've overstepped your bounds, commander."

The commissar lifted an eyebrow.? "What?"

"I never said I was sent by the TFF.? You're out of your territory.? You're causing trouble where I patrol.? You cause chaos in a world without struggle."

"This blasted world is dead but for the armies stationed here!? How is that order?"

Rack looked at the man darkly.? "That is the true essence of order."

The Commissar lifted his chainsword wearily as the still corpses of his foes and friends alike began to lift themselves on unsteady feet and take up their weapons once more.

He swung his sword a final time.

His head hit the floor.

"Luthorne!"

Said mad scientist looked up from his old-fashioned notepad, to see a furious and worried General Assasinguy, Sergeants HK-47 and Albert Wesker traling in the shorter man's wake, indifference printed over their faces. He stopped some feet away from the grizzled man, catching his breath.

"'Sup, General?" he gave a friendly salute, only to be met with wary eyes. "Ion Cannons not firing right? 'Cause you know, we have a selection of other fine Weapons of Mega Massive Destruction in our stock..."

"You got any Particle Chargers?" came Wesker's enquiry, looking at a fellow Extremely Mad Scientist, "Because you see, my Sqaudron could really use some of those babies."

"Sorry, bud, only General Assasinguy here's got dibs on the good shit." he grinned down, "The man here's got special priveleges, see, and - !"

"Did you discharge a certain Lich named Rack from your R and D confinement?"

"The guy with the Marysue Bacterium? Yeah, we did." he look puzzled, "Gave him a Norma Suppressant to keep the Bacterium dormant, what's wrong?"

He pulled out a datapad and handed it over to the Madboyz member.

"You'll see what I mean," Luthorne pressed the enter key on the pad. "Your suppressants weren't good enough."

A crackling video made itself known, showing the figure of Rack and another soldier.

The man's face scrunched in distaste. "You've overstepped your bounds, commander."

The commissar lifted an eyebrow. "What?"

"I never said I was sent by the TFF. You're out of your territory. You're causing trouble where I patrol. You cause chaos in a world without struggle."

They talked some more, until...

Rack killed him.

Luthorne dropped the datapad.

"We have to get Admiral Rush," Assasinguy sounded, "God knows what's at stake here."

"The bacterium is highly contagious; if that sonuvabitch gets to Coreworld - !" Luthorne hadn't lost his cool in a long time, but now, in the face of a NEW threat to the TFF Coreworld, in the guise of friendship... "I'll get Rush, sir. That bastard needs to be hunted down and quarantined before the bacterium wipes us out!"

"My Fleet's doing that right now." he turned his back, ready to leave, "I'm getting your help because you're one of the best, Luthorne. No one knows about this yet; keep it within your department."

"Did you tell Hawk?"

There was only silence.

"Good God."

"Yeah, it's that bad."

Rack's bacterium has turned on us once again.. the dreaded Marysue. The worst part? He's located near FFnet.

God help us all.
I'll try my hand at writing a snippet.

"Alright, boys! ShowTime"

The members of Beta Squad ceased their activities, mostly card playing and drinking, to look at their superior.

"We've been assigned a suicide mission again. Suit up and grab your gear. I hear this one may be a huge one. And if he's huge..."

"It means he has huge guts, we know." replied Blast Hardcheese, whom everyone in the squad put their faith into.

"Our target is a Marysue Bacterium infested lich."

"Why are we going after that? I thought the Madboyz would want something like that for dissection?" asked Slam Bulkhead.

"It escaped, and Command doesn't want to take any risk of it infecting other worlds. So we get the fun job of erasing it from existance." The Marine, already suited up in his green X-Com Flying Armor, turned to leave the barracks.

"Sir! Wait! How are we getting to the target?" Asked the Rookie, Agent William, while struggling with a safety lock of his armor.

"We're hitching a ride with General AntiAssassin's Fleet." At those words, every member of the squad blanched. This could not end well.

Just wanted to get into the action. I propose my services for Lich extermination. :flameon:

And Remember, we put our faith in Blast Hardcheese. Long live MST3K.

This thread has finally moved to it's correct location, of which I have to thank Hawk, and well... go knock yourself out.

Just thought I'd bump this thread and show the new location to those unaware of any changes.
