Yeah, I totally couldn't enjoy that fic.

Ash basically becomes a superhero. Whats the point really?
He's goneback in time, but he's gone back in time in some retarded already AU universe where everything is fucking weird and people can be superpokemon, so there's no feeling of 'changing' anything, since everything is already fucked to hell.


Its badly thought out and badly executed.

If you're taking that fic seriously you're doing it wrong. =\

It's not supposed to be a fantastic fic. What it's supposed to be - and what, in my opinion, it pulls off pretty well - is a silly, lighthearted wander back through the show. It presses a lot of nostalgia buttons for me, basically.


As for the fighting Mewtwo bit... he literally bleeds to death from doing it and, you know, never actually gets a single hit on Mewtwo, so it's not really that bad.

That sounds... really ridiculous. Sad to hear it was bad. Older Naoto looked good though.

The shocking twist is that the book takes place two months after the game. Which means Naoto's hair grew a foot per month.

Which means that the books are even worse than we thought. There's a whole host of complaints about them that I've read; it's actually pretty funny.

Mass Effect is a great game. A fun game. But the fun and games stop when it all becomes real...when I find myself on the Citadel, with the terrible knowledge of what's coming. And I checked out Halo's TvTropes page. And now I want to read some good Halo?áfics or just some good Halo fics.

As a warning, neither, IIRC, currently involves Master Chief. Both integrate the Mass Effect human cast into the UNSC, albeit with the diferences to be expected of people that hail from Halo humanity.

As a warning, Reclaimers is a dead-fic. Clash is still alive, however.

Its rather unique in that its set in the Halo verse, while most are set in the ME verse.

Its major plot is Reach, I think.

I'm only on chapter 4 so far, but its been quite good

Things to note: Its M!ShepxTali. Post ME2, with all the crew on board.

The spelling/grammer isn't great.

The Mass Effect tech gets a good showing for once. Some could argue too good, frankly.

Mass Effect Human Revolution has a new chapter (and more on SpaceBattles). However... I think it was at its best keeping to the cyber noir (since punk doesn't quite apply) and space opera earlier. The need to create OC species, go on making Hein some bizarre clever genius, Jensen a harem protagonist, have every single government be evil tyrants (even ones clearly untouched by the Illuminati) and that major genre shift have made it a love it or hate it fic.
