My GM tried at least to keep the group together... but he never really succeeded.
I remember one of our group. He refused to play anything else but a fighter, so he usually chose a warrior, barbarian, or paladin. THe problem is that he played the paladin as he would a barbarian. Pillaging, killing, stealing. Our GM tried to tell him more than once that it went against the paladin's code, but he never gpt through to him.
That guy's girlfriend was even worse as she never bothered to read the player's guide and never remembered the rules or what the different dice were for.
The other two were experienced players who were there for fun (as they played Vampire the Masquerade with another, more serious group). Too bad they never invited me as I would have loved to play some serious RPGs.
The thing that bothered me most was that I always had to play the character classes the others (and even the experienced players) refused to play. So I usually was the cleric or the thief, although I'd have prefered a ranger. Ah, well.
Too bad the GM had enough after a while and I haven't played any table top RPGs since then. That was 9 years ago. Unfortunately. I'd love to play again.
Do any of you know if there are online tabletop RPGs. Maybe where you can play with others via Skype while using virtual dice?
