Ranma ½ Rosario + Ranma

My GM tried at least to keep the group together... but he never really succeeded.

I remember one of our group. He refused to play anything else but a fighter, so he usually chose a warrior, barbarian, or paladin. THe problem is that he played the paladin as he would a barbarian. Pillaging, killing, stealing. Our GM tried to tell him more than once that it went against the paladin's code, but he never gpt through to him.

That guy's girlfriend was even worse as she never bothered to read the player's guide and never remembered the rules or what the different dice were for.

The other two were experienced players who were there for fun (as they played Vampire the Masquerade with another, more serious group). Too bad they never invited me as I would have loved to play some serious RPGs.

The thing that bothered me most was that I always had to play the character classes the others (and even the experienced players) refused to play. So I usually was the cleric or the thief, although I'd have prefered a ranger. Ah, well.

Too bad the GM had enough after a while and I haven't played any table top RPGs since then. That was 9 years ago. Unfortunately. I'd love to play again.

Do any of you know if there are online tabletop RPGs. Maybe where you can play with others via Skype while using virtual dice?

there are a lot of programs that you can use for online rpg play. Just google for it. The real problem as usual is finding a group -_-

That's one RPG I'd never like to play. Awful.
You're just saying that because you possess the common sense, tact, and basic social awareness to complete ordinary household chores without complications or drama.
Which would make this game really boring.
Thank goodness my characters are idiots!

Another fine omake.

I'm assuming Ranma's luck was completely against him when rolling to see whether he'd get sucked into that shop, but hey, I'll roll with it. Evil Moka was fun too, as is the perils of cigarettes for humans.

Pure irony to have Ranma miss out on the fighting too.

This hasn't been revealed yet, but the secret technique to martial arts LARPing has a tragic weakness: amazing dice rolls will always be followed by miserable dice rolls.
Unless you cheat.

It would be funny if Ranma carpenter and Tsukune accountant find them selves in a relationship because of some sort of rule.

it would be funnier if the moka manager and ranma carpenter found themseves in a relationship cause of some weird ruling. The tsundere ruling?

Yukari: Okay, Moka, you've tried to kill Ranma's carpenter and failed. According the nerima sourcebook, you're now engaged.

I like that.

If you go for the cheap tsundere rpg relationship, Evil Moka has to walk into it with some near exact cliche line. Have her get dosed by something prior to the event like cheap alcohol. Then fumble an intoxication roll.

Hmph. Stupid carpenter. I am not killing you b-because I like to or anything. (blush) S-so don't get the wrong idea. Got that?

Then Ranma (or the Mizore/Kana angle)completely loses it and puts a stop to the game flow via dramatic hissy cow.

Alternately something like Evil Moka doing something managerial over Ranma's character.

What? You actually did it all the way through? I'm actually... quite impressed.

*beat* B-but not by you, of course. I'm just impressed by your attention span, that's all.

And Yukari brings out the little big book of rules on human relationships. Maybe freaks everyone out by going into depth on skinship or the yamato nadesico kinda girls. Something pure that it rings as pure insanity to monsterns.

....Acceptable. Hope this comes into play more often, to hilarious detrimental effect.

You guys seem a little too determined to get them together...
Agreed. It'd be funnier for Evil Moka to be genuinely livid that she's engaged to Ranma to some absurd series of events, and to have even more convoluted events occur to cement her in-game 'relationship' with Ranma.

Or have Ranma and Tsukune end up in a relationship for maximum awkwardness. I think I like this option even more.

nah, i'll go with the 'Yukari cheats or rules for them to be atracted to eachother in the game', with Moka (both) and Ranma getting upset and for Ranma's and Tsukune's characters getting into a 'relationship' because they are acting buddy-buddy with eachother and because Yukari is being a Troll ("It's my MokaxRanma or your TsukunexRanma, you decide") only for something unlikely happening and the game returning to 'normal'.

the stammering sounds nothing like evil moka in this fic...

Although I can see Moka being an accidental tsundere, maybe helping Ranma with something and then saying 'Don't be stupid. I didn't do it for you' in a haughty manner and everyone else thinks she's being tsundere. Including Tsukune (who will then comically worry about whether Moka really likes Ranma)

I think the encounter with the wolves should be switched for something more 'urban'. Maybe a group of drunk vagrants or a yakuza shootout. Or maybe an angry mob stampede in pursuit of an underwear thief.

Another possibility would be a biker gang armed with chains and knives trying to rob or molest them.

No, no. The wolves are perfect because it's so outlandish, technically possible, and loaded with irony.

EDIT: Ooh! I have an idea! The gang has to attend....a funeral.

Think of it as a challenge to put the fun in funeral.

The ranma/ tsukune relationship ( in the rpg) sounds like a great plan to me.

You know, this would be an interesting idea for a Ranma story where all the usual crazies have to play this kind of RPG. Players are Ranma, Ryoga, Kuno, Shampoo, and the other people who have trouble fitting into the normal society. Nerima is not really normal after all.

That's all you, Dumbles!

Well, it depends on whose funeral, obviously.

An in-story in-law? An unlikable relative? Good Moka?

Something to give them an excuse to get bored and start nicking everything valuable that's not nailed down. Because it'd be a crying shame to bury the dead with such nice things.
