So the police showed up to a body dead by chainsaw, and Ranma walked off with a bloody chainsaw?á Did he roll a 20 on his hide or bluff check?
That's a good point. I didn't really think about that.
Of course, as an excuse, neither did Yukari. She's pretty used to simply walking away from the corpse of the hour without giving it much thought.

Plus, it was technically the exploding laundry machine that killed him.

But still, I can probaby make a joke out of that. Good catch!
I surprises that Ranma didn't try to bring him back to life with his chainsaw.
Hmm... Fighting death.
I'm sure he would have, if C&C were the sort of game to use shinigami or the reaper or the like. But it's more of a "you stop breathing, game over" type of model.

Besides, the handle was broken.

They need a new DM.
Who else among the cast has the attention span and intellect to manage a D&D-like game?
Well, okay, maybe Tobaki, but she probably has the least idea of anyone what a civilized society is like. Also, trying to think like a demon thinking like a human is too meta for me.

I wouldn't even classify her as demon in that context. "Demon" carriers undertones of cunning and knowing human weakness better than humans themselves do. Eldritch abomination is what I'd use.

And Zeebee, get over it. You are ruining our fun with your realism.

Depends on what kind. Tobaki is a D&D style demon, and in that setting it's devils that are cunning and who tempt humans, while demons just kill things mindlessly.

zeebee is being a troll
plushie, stop being a troll.
So help me, if you kids don't behave I'll bust out the acid flask and we'll find out once and for all who the troll is!

Acid stops the regeneration, so you'd just have two guys with acid burns.

Also, making Tobaki the DM wouldn't be a good idea. It would show how she views humans, and that's best left for the actual story.

So you're suggesting I light them on fire instead?

I'd say that's best left to your nightmares, not the story.
At BEST, every humans she looks at has little dotted lines covering them, denoting the different cuts of meat, along with an indicator of grade.
Tsukune gets off easy with her largely because he's so scrawny.

Get it out of my head!
Oh, please. We've all seen the doujins. That mental image shouldn't unsettle anyone on THIS board.

So it comes to "true One True Pairing"? How about some more emphasis on "true", just in case, y'know, we didn't get a point?

Tsukune/Tobaki is the true OTP.
Translation?
One true pairing?
That covers the acronym.
Now how about the logic?
Sadism, and possibly a deep seated dislike of Tsukune.

As funny as Tobaki is, I wouldn't wish her on anyone but Ranma, if only because Ranma only shines when the universe is taking a hearty dump on him.

Only love in BD fic I can recall is Min in Yagami 1/2, and Sakura in Guardian (if you can use word that big) - and both are logical enough as far as those things go. I'm not counting canon obsessions such as in BHoC or Takahashi's Soup, of course.

So, it seems that I'm yet again stumped as to what the hell you are talking about.

There is no logic when it comes to love. Especially in one of your stories.
That hurts, man.
Mostly because it's true.

In most stories issue of love is handled with 12 years old approach:

a) they met and immediately fall in greatest love since Romeo and Juliet
b) they met as children so ofc they are in love
c) they hang around each othetr, so ofc they are in love
d) he saved her, so ofc she loves him
e) she is violent towards him, so ofc he loves her
and couple more completly idiotic patterns

I find your approach more realistic than typical fare, so I strongly disagree with zeebee.

I really wanted to stay out of this, but...

You should take care and pay attention to what you are grouching about, or you are going to come off as know-nothing poser.
This just makes me laugh now.

Also, regardless of who's right or wrong in this case, I suggest you lay off. You entered fanboy territory a couple pages ago and the way I see it, that's about a thousand times as annoying as zb's one-liners or general negativity.
