"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,"
That would be better used as a counter attack statment I think.
I thought about that, but it doesn't fit the intent of the statement, since the assumption is still that someone doesn't want to get attacked.
What I like best about that usage is that it fits the intent literally.
The only thing that didn't feel smooth was the fight scene but that might just be my religious school upbringing be turned on it's ear.
Well, since the fight focused more on silly, melodramatic action-hero lines and less on actual action, that may be inevitable, but if you have something specific to point out I may be able to remedy it.
Reading JC's attacks I did expect some reference to carpentry rather than just basic punch, kick, beam stuff.
You would have seen some carpentry references if it were an extended battle rather than a glorified religious gag. I had a lot of ideas that I ended up discarding because I didn't want the fight to be too long.
Mere words cannot describe the emotions that are running rampant in me, at the thought of our Lord and Savior kicking xeno ass~!!!
Screw the Emperor. Unlike the psyker, Jesus is the one true -competently awesome- Messiah of the 40th Millenium!
Don't be silly.
Jesus IS the <a href='http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Emperor' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Emperor</a>.
I think the first "Prayer Beam" should be "Prayer Beam Alpha" so you can have that "I am Alpha and Omega" thing going on.
Good idea. Altered for second draft.
