JC's attacks remind me of some of the techniques used by Phil in Slayers.

PACIFIST CRUSH!
GOOD WILL TOWARDS MEN KICK!

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,"

That would be better used as a counter attack statment I think.

As always Richard was gold. The dialog between inner and outer moka was great. The only thing that
didn't feel smooth was the fight scene but that might just be my religious school upbringing
be turned on it's ear.

Reading JC's attacks I did expect some reference to carpentry rather than just basic punch, kick, beam stuff. Glad you didn't go with the holy hand grenade though too obvious.

I think the first "Prayer Beam" should be "Prayer Beam Alpha" so you can have that <a href='http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Revelation-1-8/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>"I am Alpha and Omega"</a> thing going on.

Oh my God.

Literally.

Mere words cannot describe the emotions that are running rampant in me, at the thought of our Lord and Savior kicking xeno ass~!!!

Screw the Emperor. Unlike the psyker, Jesus is the one true -competently awesome- Messiah of the 40th Millenium!

I thought about that, but it doesn't fit the intent of the statement, since the assumption is still that someone doesn't want to get attacked.
What I like best about that usage is that it fits the intent literally.

The only thing that didn't feel smooth was the fight scene but that might just be my religious school upbringing be turned on it's ear.
Well, since the fight focused more on silly, melodramatic action-hero lines and less on actual action, that may be inevitable, but if you have something specific to point out I may be able to remedy it.

You would have seen some carpentry references if it were an extended battle rather than a glorified religious gag. I had a lot of ideas that I ended up discarding because I didn't want the fight to be too long.

Don't be silly.
Jesus IS the <a href='http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Emperor' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Emperor</a>.

I think the first "Prayer Beam" should be "Prayer Beam Alpha" so you can have that "I am Alpha and Omega" thing going on.
Good idea. Altered for second draft.

While that was good you must include the <a href='http://newcdn.lfgcomic.com/uploads/comics/4617ea71d23e43d324c9a68fb770b280fa613122.gif' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Orphin Umbrella</a>.

The fight scene seemed quite lackluster after the teaser was so good. Really the best line was Jesus saying "Again".

Well, I have to admit that the stone line was probably the best I could do. Jesus quote don't lend themselves to ironic fist fights.

SEE? SEE WHAT DAMAGE YOUR SPOILERS HAVE WROUGHT?
WALLOW IN REGRET!

No.
For the... (checks ff.net PM box) EIGHTH time, I'm not going to just copy Richard's LFG gags for this story (except in his first appearance, obviously). It's hard enough to not base every damn scene around him without having to literally bend the rest of story to accommodate the proper references.

The blonde girl is just totally bored. Not horrified or such, just bored.

Ok, sorry didn't know you had that stance.

I got the feeling from the previous panels that they were all being mind controlled pretty heavily.

Oddly this has raised my opinion of jesus.
Nothing odd about that.
I think the ranks of the faithful would be much greater this day if the Bible included a chapter where Jesus saved a village from aliens.

Yeah I especially love the part where Jesus orders the execution of everyone who didn't accept him as their ruler. Luke 19:27 I think.

Huh, guess my childhood bible knowledge is kinda spotty. Never mind then.

I'm going to concur here as well. Saved again indeed.

There's also a passage in the New Testament where Jesus states that child abusers should be thrown in the ocean with large rocks tied around their necks.

Given the Neko-ken, and the fact that Jesus exists in this story, why hasn't he done that to Genma? Or did he and it just didn't work?

Jesus is too busy to be dealing with every child abuser in person. He delegates of course, and Death is already on the job. Genma is just too savvy to be caught.

Or perhaps Jesus invented the neko-ken and doesn't consider it child abuse. The definition of child abuse has changed much over time.

So, I just have to ask. Who exactly is Jesus?
Some old dude who died a long time ago. And then he came back. I think. He's definitely dead now, though. Probably.
Some guys wrote a book about him, but it was pretty weird.

That doesn't mesh at all with what I know of the Bible's stories (obviously Rome didn't accept him as their ruler, and it's pretty clear he didn't "order" them executed) but I can't claim any expertise on the subject.
Besides, that kind of what rulers did back in the day. And not all of them gave a conquered people a choice, if you know what I mean. At worst, it makes Jesus a normal king.

The king doing the death sentencing in that verse was a fictional character in one of Jesus' fables.
