Was I the only one bothered that Steven didn't even know what school was? I mean I suppose it establishes that he's lived with the gems longer than assumed but the fact he was literally "playing" school because he and the other Gems had no real concept of it kind of bothered me. It really pointed out just how non-human his upbringing has been. You'd think his father would insist on that just to allow him to make friends or something.

Greg is likely assuming Steven is being homeschooled....and to be fair....considering how volatile Steven's powers are homeschooling might be for the best....IF the Gems were doing that.

Hopefully someone will point out that Steven needs an education. I'm sure Pearl would throw herself into the role of teacher if given half a chance.

Maybe but Pearl seemed as confused by the concept as Steven did. And I suppose the face the Gems are all but immortal makes modern schooling seem silly to them. But I don't know how that applies to Steven since he is half human.

Still really liking Steven Universe. Ocean Gem really kicked the meta-plot into gear. All the monsters being corrupted Gems? Did not see that coming. I'm looking forward to learning more about that.

Steven's just too awesome. Just saw Mirror and Ocean gem two-parter. This episodes kicked things up.

Corrupted gems, Lapiz, and Shield Steven combined with the musical score had me cheering. This has now replaced Adventure Time as my CM favorite.

....just finished the most recent episode....I was close to killing Lars through then entire thing....until the end.....

Sadie....you were out of line.....and I think it's best if you let Lars fall on his face from now on. I mean if the only way you can get him to appreciate you is to pull a stunt like that then perhaps breaking up is for the best.

You find out some cool little bits of info. Like Greg is planing to give Steven his Heavy Metals Megs when he is older or Steven likes Sailor Moon because it's "really down to earth" to him. They also talk a bit about Lapis Lazuli.

At this points the Gems really are like Cybertronians....and the warriors we know and love have basicaly been playing 'Clean up' ever since the end of the last war....that said....I REALLY want to know what happened to the other Earth-born Gems...
