I just found this thread, but for that past week some seriously messed up stuff has been happening. I still have no clue what the hell is going on. Last Sunday a very faint high pitched noise started to ring in my ear whenever I was around any electronic. It started faint but by monday night I could barely be on the computer for more then 10 minutes before getting a headache from it. Tuesday I spent the whole day outdoors, farther away I got from electronics the fainter the sound grew. I did find a suitable distance at a nearby camp ground that gave me peace enough to sleep. The weird part is that I could hear a lot better out there then I ever did before. When I woke up the sound was back, but was... IS... different.

Now when I head North or East it gets better but when I head South or West it gets worse.

If I just stand still it gets worse.

Since leaving Chattanooga (its in Tennessee) it looks like I am headed to either New York City or Boston.

Tomorrow night I should be in New York. Just in time for the fireworks. If something doesn't change sound wise in NY I will end up in Boston Monday afternoon. From there its Maine. I don't have a passport on me, I sort of shoved everything I could into a bag and ran before the noise got to much.

I have no clue if this has anything to do with what is happening to you guys... But do you think there might be a connection having to do with electronics?

This is weird.

I arrived in New York City around 5 hours ago, eventually the noise lead me to Times Square. BLESSED SILENCE. For around like 10 minutes the noise was gone, I looked around trying to find anything that would clue me in to well... anything. Then it went from silent to worse than I ever had it in a second or two. I blacked out after grabbing my head.

It felt like I was drowning in water yet for some reason crawling through a desert. I couldn't breath, I was surrounded by liquid, I was baking. I somehow ended up at a computer terminal before going back under.

Twenty minutes ago I woke up parked in my car in Hells Kitchen two blocks from Central Park. I looked through everything I have looking for clues as to what happened. Nothing is missing, Nothing extra is here.

I lost 3 hours. There is no more noise. Silence. I swear I thought I was going to kill someone.

My laptop doesn't show me being active during that time... I must have typed that when I was out, somewhere.

Looked up Pete Cashmore, apparently he is the CEO of Mashable... if this is the same Pete Cashmore that is.
