TFF Academy - Insanity's just the beginning

Basically, you were moved into closed space to prevent any more damage or noise.

The exact details of what was done is similar to what a DITE agent has done before; siphoning power from Suzumiya Haruhi.

Closed space... hmmm... wouldn't the manipulation of anything that goes on in closed space be more of an ESPer ability rather than a DITE agent?

I just want to make sure I have my facts straight on what I can and cannot do before writing any future story posts for this event.

It does nothing.

All it does is move everybody to closed space until one side is decidedly dead.

Also, ESPers themselves do not have the ability to create or even directly destroy closed space. So far, only Nagato has shown the ability to manipulate Haruhi's power-but was to completely change the world, a much larger scale than a stadium sized closed space.

Can one teleport out of closed space? Such as how members of Organization XIII usually teleport in and out of places throughout KHII.

While one cannot do it by simply walking out, I would believe teleporting would work.

Well... I can probably have him annoy my character for a bit.

Oh... *I feel stupid* well, no one said that the smoke around the fighting area disspated, so my character could just rush in and see... students... no monsters or anything like that...

You know, I'll just edit my portion and include that.

For future reference, I would prefer if edits were avoided for such minor things. We can easily come up with something to get things back on track to a point. If it's a major thing that needs to be edited, we can always talk back and forth on the comment thread for a bit to determine how it should be handled properly.

For the record, I was in the middle of writing a story post where UC annoyed my character and had to stop when Eterna pointed her katana at him upon realizing that my character's still one of the good guys.

Oh... sorry about that

Eterna would like that. Correction, her ego would like that :snigger:

Well, for UC's sake, I added a bit of an after-event. The invasion of the closed space giants! Off course, getting out of closed space is next to impossible, except if you have immense amounts of energy (enough to break through the barrier) or be capable of non-magic based teleportation (as the Dovescape still seems to be in effect).

So will Mereo-sensei release the closed space inhibition field in time, will the PCs find a way to get out on their own, or will the closed space giants just slaughter everyone and end the story right there and then? Hmm....

btw, Epsilon, you can still add that bit you had with UC in at this point. It shouldn't be too difficult to fit into the general chaos.

Then after this we've got the club sign-ups. Yay!

A question. How many holes were there in the ice? I know my character had repaired at least one hole by transmuting the water into replacement ice. Because, you were mentioning another hole or so... or was it the same one?

There should be one hole left I think, the one Zenu dived into. I used the same hole.

There were quite a few holes really. Remember that Zeni was sent flying into the ice by the black waltz at the beginning of the fight? That left behind a pretty large crater, with a sizeable hole in the middle too. Not to mention Abramczyk-sensei's blown one hole open too, so that makes 2. Then there should be a few more holes left behind by the other attacks, I believe. So there should be quite a few convenient holes.

And why's everyone following Zeni into the lake? Zeni's trying to get Emerald Weapon (that somehow got transported into the closed space as well) to blow a hole in the closed space barrier.

As for attempting to defeat it, no way Zeni can take out the Emerald Weapon at this stage.

Well, maybe Epsilon, Mereo, or DAA can, but not Zeni in his limited human form.

Well, feel free to follow into the lake, but do so at your own peril. :p

...break the closed space barrier?

That would be fine, except...Closed Space is better explained as an alternate reality, rather than a barrier.

You'd be better off having it fight the Shinjin.

Well Reimaru went down there to retrieve the item, however she needs a volunteer, read canon folder, to distract Emerald weapon. :snigger:

Unfortunately for him he stumbled across one particular Android by the name of Marvin. Before hand he was a casual, laid back individual eager to explore the universe and learn the many different forms of magic. However a magical misfire caused him to temporarily bond with the machine.

After being exposed to Marvin's view of the universe he became permanently depressed and disgusted. For awhile he refused to do anything at all. He was soon sent to his home on Earth in the vain attempt to try and help him forget the incident ever happened.

Being on Earth has allowed him to recover just enough to try going to school in an attempt to rejoin society. Whether or not he can blend back in remains to be seen.

Thanks for the welcome I appreciate it. Only thing is I have to figure out a way to come in that doesn't all ready upset what's going on.

BTW he can resurrect the dead to the way they were when they were alive, but he's just as likely to turn them into a random undead. Heh fun for all around.

I was thinking maybe after the emerald weapon bit? Course I'm open to suggestions as such.

Indeed, welcome, Mick. ^_^

Sorry for the late reply here. I'm not around TFF as much as I'd like to be these days. Not to mention another new project has taken up most of my attention as of late.

First of all, really nice character there. Intergalactic Hitchhiker....awesome :yay: Really though, is there a fate worse than getting exposed to Marvin? Well...perhaps that machine on that Frogstar World beta....but no, Marvin's worse, a LOT worse....

Well, it's up to you where you want to show up. Regarding the story...err....I might just continue it in a bit just to make sure it gets past the EW part. But if you'd like to continue it now and add your character, go right ahead. It's anything goes.

Well, once again, welcome, and off course, have fun!
