TFF Academy - Insanity's just the beginning

Out of curiosity, wouldn't a Death God class Servant outclass (for lack of a better word) the seven main classes of Servants that Type Moon had created? Keep in mind that my character did mention the possibility of other classes but with a lower combat capacity than the seven classes already described.

This is most likely the Servant I will use (but will debut later when the time is ready). I'm basing this Servant (along with my primary magical combat ability) off of elements of Magic: The Gathering.

Designation: Glory

Class: Incarnation

Combat ability: Average (perhaps slightly stronger than Avenger and Healer. Won't be able to beat out a powerful combatant like Saber though.)

Noble Phantasm: Prismatic Circle (Rank: A, Type: Support). By using mana (be it her own or mana directly transferred from her Master), she can cast a temporary protection spell on all her allies that grants protection from a certain element of Magic. For example, if a sorcerer who uses Black magic summons some undead monsters and uses some other Black magic (say an instant kill type spell with black magic such as Terror), Glory's ability will grant Protection from Black and allow all her allies to defeat the enemy swiftly. Protection wears off approximately 15 minutes after being used. As long as mana is available, she can use this ability as many times as she wishes.

True Identity: Unknown but it is likely that her previous life was as the Mother of Runes, a gentle female cleric who could use Runes of Protection to protect a living sentient being from one element of Magic for a short period of time. She served on the sidelines during the Third Holy Grail War and disappeared once the event had concluded.

Might as well write out my Servant then:

Miss Marian Campbell

Class: Healer.

Combat Ability: Reasonable (but she only fights when there is no alternative)

Noble Phantasm: Heart of the Bow (Rank: B, Type: Support) In the same way that the longbow bends but does not break, so does this ability. Basically, by wrapping the bowstring around a wound, Marian is able to heal light to moderate wounds (Anything from a twisted ankle to a fractured wrist).

True Identity: Maid Marian, from the legend of "Robin Hood and his Merrie Men".

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't your class a Healer class, David? Besides, you're technically supposed to have only one servant out of each class at a time.

There's nothing wrong with your Servant but her class is supposed to be a Healer class from what you wrote earlier. Not an Incarnation. I claimed that class already and Type Moon said that there can only be one Servant PER class.

You put her in the Incarnation class. It should be 'healer' there.

As for mine...umm...

I'll come up with something later.

If you're supposed to be Vampiric Nobility, you could always retain a lesser Vampire as a Servant.

Do we all specifically have to have a 'servant'?

I'm not sure how the system works, or what's actually going on. As far as I'm concerned, my character is just a normal human, albeit, a hockey nut.

Actually, if I recall, Dead Apostles (better known as vampires) could never be admitted into the Throne of Heroes. It's the main reason why Zelretch never became a Heroic Spirit. Then again, we're already screwing around with the system.

And no, Legacy. I'm not picking a servant for this Holy Grail War myself, actually.

A lesser vampire....hmm....ok

Class: Scarlet Noble

Name: Scarlet

Sex: Female

True Identity: Carmilla, First fictional female vampire. Actually predates 'Dracula'.

Noble Phantasm: Nocturne - twin daggers - grants control of any bit of exposed blood on the battlefield. Could use it to regenerate self, to create walls of solid blood for defense, or to attack.

Reality Marble: Legions of the Covenant - summons dark vampiress legions in a realm of darkness.

What do you think?

Edit: No, Legacy, you don't need to have a servant.

In fact, since I'm already a shinsou vampire, I'll dispense with servants. If anyone wants to take Scarlet, go ahead.

It's too bad that story flow isn't going as quickly as we would like it but like other fics, set-ups need to be done to enjoy the tense moments.

True. Especially since it's an RPG, we must give everyone a chance to get their feet planted on the ground before we start the more interesting stuff.

Btw, I've decided to participate without a servant. A lot easier to manage too. Shall we have our first battle soon?

What the hell.... that's a nice choice of words :p

If you've played the Final Fantasy series, particularly Final Fantasy 9, you'd know. The Black Waltz are a series of custom made Black Mages (the black mages in FF9 are mostly magically animated dolls) that basically look like bell-shaped humanoids with arms, legs, and topped off with a frayed mage hat.

They normally wield elemental black magic, such as fire, water, ice, lightning, etc.

The one shown below is Black Waltz 03, the last of the series and the most powerful. btw, he wields lightning.

Here's a pic:

Well....provided you could penetrate their magical and physical barriers, then at the very least it would make them itch and at the very best it would throw them back a bit. Otherwise, an ordinary bullet is next to throwing popcorn at them.

Now, if you're talking about magic bullets, then that's a different story. Go ahead, cook up whatever you like. Anything's fine.

All the while, Mereo sits back while all of you do the work.

'Course, that makes me what you want to do when the Angels attack.

??

And we're wondering what Mereo-sensei would do in this time of crisis :p

He won't do anything.

After all, this actually furthers his plans. For all you know, he could have unleashed them himself.

Not very likely though, as they would have been enemies in the previous Holy Grail War.

Servant Name: Reimaru (I'm the servant :snigger: )

Master: Chao Rinshen

Class: If there is one, then most likely I'll be a Caster.

Noble Phantasm:
Devine Shield - A protection barrier that surrounds the user and her party that nullifies all attacks.
Shadow Path - Enlarges the shadow in the area that surrounds Reimaru and shadow binding all those in the area and draining their blood, giving a temporary boost in power.

Reality Marble: Inverted Universe - As the name suggests, it inverts all capabilities where healing magic damages people while attacking skills/magic/attacks heals a person.
