Mm. Both good points. The reason that I decided that A Man Chooses ought to be A ranked is because it's circumstantially useful. Not many enemies use mind effecting magic; and ignoring Command Seals is only going to be useful three times. What I was trying to say is that the ranking system does not provide a really accurate measurement of how powerful a Noble Phantasm or skill can be because circumstances of how a fight plays out can change everything.

Since it seems to be bothering people so much I'll change it to EX. Nigh-universal rejection of something like this in a fanwork usually means it needs to be checked.

EDIT: Done. Also changed fireproof to the Bioshock-recognizable Human Inferno gene tonic. Any Bioshock players want to suggest some tonics?

Still waiting for people to suggest Gene Tonics. In the meantime...

Solid Snake
Class: Demoman
Master: Unknown
Alignment: FOXHOUND (former)
Noble Phantasm: A+
Strength: B
Endurance: B
Agility: B
Mana: N/A (SCIENCE!!)
Luck: B

Skills:

CQC
Rank: C

The close quarters combat style developed by The Boss and Naked Snake allows for a soldier to incapacitate, disarm or kill his or her enemy using fisticuffs while remaining armed and capable of dealing with ranged threats at a moment's notice.

Bomb Proof
Rank: A
How do you tell good Demomen from bad ones? The good ones are still alive! Being bomb proof certainly helps; Snake's reflexes, intuition and skill protect him- from explosions of his own creation, and greatly lessens damage sustained from other kinds of explosions.

Noble Phantasm:

C4
Rank: B
Completely normal C4... boosted to Servant-killing power through the power of the Demoman class. Snake has a wide array of detonation methods: timers, proximity sensors, remote control, pressure, and a few more.

The Patriot
Rank: B
The Patriot is a very powerful modified XM16E1 assault rifle, with a shortened barrel and the odd addition of the infinity symbol where the magazine loader normally is. This gives the gun infinite ammo. The Patriot is partially silenced, suffers little kickback,

The Cardboard Box
Rank: C
Perfectly normal cardboard boxes, when used by Solid Snake, becomes tools beneath which Snake can hide his presence. As long as Snake hides under it and keeps out of people's way, unboxlike behavior will go unnoticed.

Metal Gear REX
Rank: EX
A nuclear missile armed walking tank, Metal Gear REX was first defeated by Snake on foot, then commandeered by him years later to defeat Metal Gear RAY. REX is armed with a railgun by which it fires its nuclear missiles, a high powered laser, missiles on its knees and back, 30mm Vulcan cannons and a "Street Fighter" program was added later to allow REX to use melee attacks effectively. A radar and sensor array outside the machine allows the pilot to hide safely inside a heavily armored central cockpit, but is itself vulnerable to attack.

This Noble Phantasm is so powerful that it's use is not decided by Solid Snake. Rather, in order to use it his master must order him to use it, and sacrifice all three of Snake's Command Seals.

I expect reactions to be go something like this:

METAL GEAR?!

METAL GEAR!!

As I'm not really a big MGS fan, details that need changing should be reported ASAP. Any skills that he ought to have?

His NP rank should listed as EX because of REX.

Also, he's so OP he makes Gil look like the underdog. He can sneak around with little to no chance of being detected while setting remote charges at any battlefield and blow them when he's in no danger. If he is in danger he can just summon REX and beat anyone and their grandma. There should be some kind of restriction that would cause him to think twice about summoning it.

Also, METAL GEAR?!

Snake seems way way too strong. Also, C4 probably shouldn't be a noble phantasm, since it doesn't seem to be special and the weapons of servants are capable of harming other servants by default.

Perhaps make REX so powerful that it takes two Command Seals to call (given he only used it once, it's less connected to him then his more commonly used weapons)?

That's... a good idea. My first thought was that using REX required a situation where it would be needed; and Snake doesn't get to decide when that was.

Let's go for broke: using REX requires all three Command Seals. B)

It's a pity there's no room for the Spy class.

<a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prototype_(video_game)' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Alex Mercer</a> would've made an awesome Spy. :ph43r:

Maybe add him in an Omake or something? :p

Alex Mercer would obviously be a Berserker-Assassin-Spy.

And yes, that's possible in canon. :p And if Demigods/Dragonblooded count as "human" then a sentient virus that's incorporated human DNA should also count.

Rider. And then he summons the thermobaric tank, the one that has unlimited ammo.
