This isn't the idiot idea thread. This is the ideas that are too weird for people to think they'd be good thread.

Once before Sakura graduated from the Academy, she fed a starving old man a nice meal. In thanks, he painted a smiley face on her belly.

Yes, that smiley face.

This serves to explain Sakura's uselessness -- it's completely deliberate, as being able to blow away anyone with just her pinky terrifies her. Plus, she'd be better than Sasuke, and she can't have that! He's supposed to be her knight in shining armor, not the other way around!

For some reason, a really weird thought struck me:

Unbeknownst to all but the Hokages and eventually Danzo, there's a massive seal all around Konohagakure. It's purpose? Well... maybe seeing its effects in a story snippet will explain better...

Shingo frowned as he stealthily darted across a rooftop.á He was used to losing contacts, either because they were found out and captured or killed.á Sometimes life itself took a quirky turn and the contact would become loyal to their new city.á It was almost impossible, though.

However, "Impossible" and "Konohagakure" were starting to become synonymous.á Shingo looked down at the fifth contact he'd sent to this city and sighed heavily.á Even without talking to the man, he knew that he was in love with baking those cookies he was SUPPOSED to use as a cover.

It was bizarre.á All of his contacts had an intense hatred of Konoha, and even if they were trained to hide it well, that hatred just seemed to evaporate!

The most animosity he'd seen any of the civilians exude was towards some mouthy blonde brat, but that was usually because of his pranks and it didn't last long.á The ninja seemed to hold onto that bitterness more, but most of those who did weren't in town often.

Shingo sat down on a tree branch and considered his situation as well as his options.á Getting contacts into town was difficult, but keeping them as contacts or getting new contacts that were already IN town was impossible.

The Tsuchikage would be furious if he had no recent news or reports.

Being a spymaster sucked.á Long hours, always underpaid, very little appreciation for the hard work that went into it.

Maybe that was why he kept losing contacts?á After all, most other jobs were usually far more rewarding without even getting into the various benefits.

Shingo supposed a nice quiet place like Konoha would be like a resort town or a day spa, compared to most places contacts wound up having to work.á Hell, it had better trade routes, better leadership and overall better rights for everyone.

Maybe he should take up fish vending.á He loved fish after all, and knew far more about fish than even being a spymaster.

Yeah, a nice job like fish vending, where there wasn't always the metaphorical dangling katana of that arrogant ass of a Tsuchikage above his head, waiting to punish him for things that weren't his fault.á There was so much more to it than the wretched job of being a ninja.

It took several minutes of contemplation, looking at both jobs equally and it became apparent to the spymaster that being a ninja was just plain horrible in comparison.

Shingo was just about to abandon his job and take up fish vending as a permanent career when his train of thought came to a screeching halt and he glanced down at his former contact-turned-baker.

Shingo's face paled considerably and he quickly spun and ran off into the night.á He'd just made it to the forest when he suddenly realized that the forest was far more dangerous than any other would be.á His career as a fish vendor would've been rather decent, but sadly, the forests of Konohagakure did not like foreign spymasters, especially nosy ones who figured out certain secrets.
Thanks to the massive seal carved into the various basis of the surrounding area, the forest of Konoha are a mildly telepathic and decently sentient Living Forest, thanks to the Shodai Hokage. Enemy spymasters and even ninja can get in easily; and they can even get out, but only if they lack any new or useful knowledge or items; and almost never if they're pyromaniacs.

They'll lull those who can be lulled into taking other jobs, but if it's apparent that they either mean harm or pick up on the secret, well... most of the time, they make great fertilizer.

Eh, it's a random idea. Pick it apart if you see fit.

The reason Sakura is so weak at the start of the show, is because she's actually a superpowerful living Shinigami like Ichigo Kurosaki. The Elemental Countries are the domain of a single former captain from Soul Society, who has made his own spiritual kingdom on Earth, allied with Soul Society. Naruto begins to see Sakura in Shinigami form after he first uses Kyuubi's chakra.
Hmm, so is Inner Sakura her zanpakuto, or her inner Hollow?

I'd go with Hollow, as the Zanpaktou isn't identical to the wielder, while the Inner Hollow(presumably) is.

Naruto is wandering around the forest when he comes across a cave. He goes in, and discovers an enormous metal statue, primarily colored white, while having a blue torso and red accents. On its face is something looks like a mustache...
Wing Zero?

And Konoha thought Pein was destructive... Naruto on the Zero System is scary as hell.

5. Lets have it so when NAruto gets back from two years of training he's learned nothing of value, while Sasuke's basically become a demi-god.
...

- improving his chakra control
- tactics (using clones to maneuver about in midair is just one of the things we see)
- taijutsu
- hiding weapons (the fuma shuriken sealed within a scroll during the Gaara rescue arc, and the hidden kunai-on-a-rope in his sleeve during Sai's first appearance)
- advanced skills on the Rasengan (Odama Rasengan)
- proofreading and editing (had to read over Jiraiya's latest drafts)
- advanced perverted techniques (well, not really, but you can say reading Jiraiya's stuff gave him a few ideas)
- drawing upon the nine-tails chakra (which is a mixed bag -- anything past three tails is just too dangerous)
- apparently a hidden unfinished technique of Minato's
- seal lore (which could easily come back to the nine-tails chakra and the hidden technique)
- breaking genjutsu

... Please don't measure Naruto's learning rate at Sasuke's level. There's no point to it.

Emphasis on the words 'of value'.

A lot of that stuff he learned was useless against his vastly more-skilled enemies.

Bingo. Turn-A is the single strongest MS of all time. WoG directly states that a strong Newtype in Turn-A is practically unbeatable.

Naruto isn't a Newtype, but that shouldn't really be an issue.

Incredibly variable. Some form of psychic power is always involved, usually manifesting as low-level precognition and telepathy. Improved reflexes and spatial coordination are also involved, IIRC.

Exactly what Newtypes are truly capable of is never really explored, but you can be assured that whenever really high-end powers are involved, Weird Shit will happen. Zeta Gundam has a sequence where the titular MS literally calls up the souls of the dead and uses them to go into Super Mode.

I'm not joking. That actually happens.

I always wondered what that was. My knowledge is limited to Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 1 & 2.

This is a thread for ideas that are stupid, idiotic, and over all not worth the time it takes to type/read the thread. A thread made up completely of Diarrhea of the Mouth. Ideas not even crack could turn salvageable.

To Start of this Amazingly Idiotic journey into how *bad* it can get...

1: Tora is Crookshanks.
2: Naruto makes a deal with the Kyuubi to learn how to attach jewel to his clothing to pimp him out.
3: A mysterious guy shows up before Naruto graduates and becomes a genin and beats the shit out of Naruto until he Matures exponentially.
4: Tsunade's Tits are one of Orochimaru's experiments that give him the ability to spy on Tsunade.
5: Hatake's must wear face masks because instead of Tongues they have a penis. Having no mask and talking counts as public nudity.
6: Naruto after learning about the Kyuubi decides it would be fun to seal random objects into random people. As a result a lifetime supply of chips is sealed into Choji's hand, Twenty Three bricks are sealed into a random civilian store owner, a dead chipmunk is sealed into Sakura, and Haku's and Zabuza's corpses are sealed into Sasuke... When Orochimaru infects Sasuke with his seal, Naruto's seal is over ridden and there corpses poof into the forest of death. Eventualy Naruto breaks the universe when he seals Itachi into Itachi.
7: Shikamaru has the animagus from of a Cloud.
8: In reality the clouds are the clouds from family guy and are plotting to invade the elemental Nations. Skikamaru has known all along.
9: When Lee and Gai smile at the same time they release a Sun Beam attack from pokemon at there target.
10: Gai is actually a relative to the gu in FLCL.
11: Naruto dies at the age of -1 just because he is cool that way.
The only thing wrong is number 9 because its solar beam not sun beam

10 more brain ticklers

1. Naruto isn't an idiot, but he does miss the obvious quite a bit. Prime example: he has occassional intestinal problems because he doesn't know he's lactose intolerant and can't handle beef products. He's eaten beef and drank milk intermittently for YEARS and STILL hasn't figured out that he ONLY has digestive problems when he does so.

2. The real reason Hinata didn't learn the Kaiten until much later? The version the men use requires a lot of baked beans....

To quote Tenten after training with Neji: "It was like being burned alive, but only with heat..."

3. Tsunade has a powerful secret technique that she once flaunted in her youth, but now refuses to use. Orochimaru, Shizune and Jiraiya are the only ones who know of this technique. It was even the technique that saved the Densetsu no Sannin from Sanzo. That technique? Hypno-Boobies.

4. Udon isn't actually sick. The "booger" that's often sticking out of his nose is a genjutsu his batshit insane mother casts on him routinely to remind him how filthy the outside world is. Of course, since he IS of the Daimyo's family, this is also a strangely effective way of keeping people from kidnapping him.

5. Kushina Uzumaki passed away shortly after childbirth, lamenting that she should have gone ahead and made the trade for the Shinigami's Eyes. After all, then she could have saved her husband and son with her handy-dandy little Death Note....

6. Kiba Inuzuka's father isn't dead. Nor is he hiding from his wife. He's trapped on an island because he foolishly took a sightseeing tour. The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the efforts of the fearless crew, the Minnow would've been lost, the Minnow would've been lost....

The saddest thing? Kiba would've been a thousand times more dangerous with his father's various coconut-based inventions...

(if you hadn't figured it out, I'm referring to Gilligan's Island. Yes, Kiba's father IS the Professor)

7. The real reason Hinata's naturally shy around people? She'd never seen anyone, aside from Sarutobi, who didn't have white eyes until she was seven years old. She's shy because she'd once thought people who didn't have white eyes were the real freaks and she's ashamed to realize it's HER family that isn't normal.

This was driven home when she tried to give taijutsu tips to a classmate early on in the academy and her classmate remarked that she couldn't see chakra, let alone the tenketsu.

(considering that the Main House family members probably have the least amount of contact with the outside world, I wouldn't be shocked if this wasn't at least part of the problem)

8. A majority of the Hyuuga could have curb-stomped any of the Uchiha. That is why the Hyuuga are the strongest clan in Konohagakure. Itachi's true goal was to exceed the Hyuuga. Neither he, nor his brother, will EVER manage this. Even shy little Hinata and young little Hanabi could have kicked their asses eight ways to Sunday.

9. Shino Aburame has an excellent singing voice. Such a pity that his fangirls will never be able to equate him with his stage name, Tom Jones.

10. Moegi is the go-to girl for rumors and secrets. When Jiraiya found out how much the little girl knew, he made her his primary contact in Konohagakure. Danzo tried to force secrets out of her to rebuild Root at one point. That's why he's badly injured. :evil2:
Number 1 makes to much sense and number 3 it should be hanzo not sanzo

Naruto discovers that the Elemental Countries are an isolated, hardlight holographic simulation conducted by the US and Japanese governments for studying energy and exotic physics in slightly altered temporal states. Due to the processing speed of the experiment it has been running for a mere 10 years in real time, but within the simulation centuries have passed. Thanks to a backdoor built into the program by an unscrupulous programmer named Kishimoto, the character begin emerging in the real world as real lifeforms.

Forewarning: there are a number of Guilty Gear Xovers involved.

1) Naruto discovers, though various situations where his mind is thinking in one way, but his body reacts in completely different (and stupid) ways to his wishes, that he is trapped inside of a video game.

2) Ino's mother is actually Millia Rage, and thus she now has possession of the parasitic lifeform in her hair.

3) Naruto's mother is actually May the Pirate. He discovers this when he inherits her bigass Anchor as a graduation present. Zabuza never saw it coming.

3) Justice is sealed inside of Naruto's body. No one tells him this until after he kills Mizuki... and obliterates half of the village in the process.

4) Naruto discovers a mysterious puzzle and puts it together, thereby unleashing Duel Monsters on the EC.

5) Sol Badguy is Sakura's true father. Upon returning to Konoha, he is deeply disappointed in her and thus takes it upon himself to train the girl right.

6) Potemkin is Guy's brother.

7) Chipp joins Anbu.

8) Mikoto once had a "relationship" with Johnny the Pirate in the past, and had appeared in Konoha nine months before Sasuke was born. Fugaku constantly questions whether or not Sasuke is actually his son.

9) Sasuke gets Carebear Stared. He subsequently renounces his plans of revenge against Itachi, returns to Konoha against Orochimaru's wishes and opens up a Build-A-Bear store.

10) Aizen is the leader of Akatsuki.
