lol, a comment was made by another play "Ah, Mako, Bioware finally made a Mako everyone wants to drive." /snirk that craked me up
So has anyone taken her for a test drive yet? How does she handle? Does she make a lot of noise, is it a smooth ride?

(with appropriate apologies)

Well I've been playing an Imp Agent and have enjoyed the expierence of putting down a resistance while maintaining military honor (mostly, I am a spy). The best part, I did it all while dressed in a uniform not to dissimilar to that worn by the AT-ST pilots on Endor, just with more armor and a bigger side arm. That said, I'm on the fence about my 1st companion, romantically speaking. She's got a bad girl vibe going but my tendancy towards professionalism and patriotism clashes with her wild girl nature. It's not a major problem but I do get mildly annoyed when I see -1 because I decided to act like a Military Officer.

Me: Yes, I accept your surrender and will see to it that your men are treated fairly.

Kilyo: -1

I'm tempted to dump her and go for Watcher 2 but something about her is fairly off putting.

Anyways, how' being an Operative working for PVP? I've had my nose buried deep in questlines for some time now.

Fucking game lag is tearing me apart. What are the best settings for the least lag?

Turn shadows off, the game renders shadows in a odd way that eats processor power ravenously.

Did so. My first character was a Sith Pureblood and I find I don't like being a racist pig, or friend to racist pigs, so I'm gonna reroll a Zabrak.

So if your sith pureblood you're more prone to racist dialogue options? fark good thing my sith warrior is still lvl 4, might as well send all the crap i sent him so i can reroll. Damn i liked how he looked too....

Well, you get in good with other Purebloods at any rate. Turns out you don't have to be a Pureblood for Tremel to be racist.

So the dialogue options dont really change? just the perception of other races i guess right?

But it looks amazing. T_T

Seriously, Low Shadows looks horrible in comparison.

*sigh*

More or less. On the Republic side there's an undercurrent of racisim against Aliens. My Alien Smuggler pointed out to another Alien that he'd been treated very well by Republic offcials.

On the Imperial side, my Rattataki Agent's alien heritge has come up as a benefit a few times during missions. Also, The Sith Queen of Balmora didn't seem to mind my pasty white skin and hairless head :)

I actually role a reasonable pure blood so I don't agree with anyone who acts like an elitist prick, which is a wonderful contrast since a lot of pure bloods do act that way.

I'm a bit disappointed in some of the dark side choices for the Jedi Knight questline.

I mean, on Nar Shadaa you discover the Hutt working with the Republic ambassador used to be the leader of a big crime gang before they overthrew him.

He genuinely seems to want to go legit as he says that working with the Republic is far more profitable.

So, lightside choice is to out him and get him fired from his job, thus probably puttign him back on the road to crime.

Darkside, don't tell anyone, let him try to go legit.

The hell?

Racist Purebloods are too much like the Thalmor for my liking.

The Lightside for the Knight is almost a slavsh devotion to rules, codes and the concept of honesty. You're Lawful good, period. That makes you almost incappable of decit when taken so far. Personally, I feel a few Darkside decisions here and there aren't going to mess you up too badly.

That said, it dosen't help when people often try to bribe you for your silence. If that Couple on Tython hadn't offeredme a bribe, then the lady offered to shove a vibro blade throug my stomach, I wouldn't have ratted them out. If you fall in love, that's fine with me. However, if you're s blinded by obession that you begin offering bribes or trying to kill people to cover it up you've proven to me that you aren't ready to be a Jedi in love. That couple would've done better to argue their point and then let me decide their fate with no threats or bribes.

Racist Purebloods are too much like the Thalmor for my liking.
I tend to be an Open minded Pureblood who sees the value in diversity. This often leaves me very annoyed with my kin.

Naturally. I've currently, temporarily, abandoned my Warrior in favor of an Inquisitor and that Inquisitor is Pureblood, because I like how Purebloods look. Harkun is adorable, what with his assuring/ordering me to die every time he sends me somewhere. Once I get myself set up with a lightsaber, a master, a companion, and a ship, I will delve into the archaeology crew skill so I get new lightsaber crystals and modifications.

I find Armor crafting for Sith fits with my Pureblood warrior. I haven't seen the Jedi gear but so far I'm liking what I'm seeing. Also my 'Fury' starship is a sight to behold, though it's no where near as homey looking on the inside as the Jedi ship. Still if I had to pick one to take into a fight 'd pick the Fury.

So far my favorite alien races (as far as looks) are all on the Empire side. Chiss make wonderful agents while Rattataki fit either a bounty hunter or Sith Inquistor very well.

Remade my warrior and decided I'll go Juggernaut. I'll pick up armor crafting and archaeology to maximize my lightsaber and my armor. And I will go out of my way to find all the datacrons I can. Artifacts appeal to me.

as I've just been told Legacy levels only take notice of alts created after its unlocked I'm focusing on my Jug until I've unlocked it, then I'll remake my various alts, all in all I'm having alot of fun, mind of amuses me how much people while about not having the various meters they have gotten dependant on in WoW, while I'm just happy I can level solo without waiting for a group for 6 hours like my FFXI days /laugh hell its even easier here to keep hate then it was as a Mithra Paladin back before Proms was released /laugh ^^; so I guess for me everything after FFXI is easy mod /grin

Damnit, really? Ugh...I've been alternating between all four of my Empire characters to level them all roughly equally.

I'm almost certain that Legacies work regardless of when the Alt's were created. I've unlocked mine and an older Alt is accumulating XP just fine.

yes, but is it back dated from when you created it? if your already level 25 for example you don't get the exp you'd have gotten backpaid as it were, plus I seem to remember the person saying his alts from before he got it didn't have the legacy name /shrug 2nd hand knowledge and all that, but I figure better safe then sorry, so I'm getting a character to that point asap before I do anything else /shrug

Well, then my clan shall be the 'Springfields' that way I can say we're all descendants of Revan's most prized student, the thousand master Negi Springfield.

Kidding

I'll have to give a last name some thought, but it's an interesting idea.

Edit: Actually....Eva was trained by Revan who gave her the idea for (forc user version) of Magia Erebea but went off to face the Emperor before completing the technique. She then passed it onto Negi who taught it to ALL his children....Hmmm there might be a story here....

Ok, while I'm stuck waiting to redeem my codes and start, I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the Taris questline the most out of everything so far.

Watcher One is awesome

btw, how do I use spoiler tags?

Really? So far I'm finding Taris kinda boring as a Smuggler, and wishing desperately for a mount because there's so much walking around...

Honestly... I can fly a starship but I can't drive a hoverbike? What the hell...

Hoverbikes are at lvl 25 right now.

Sides, Taris was fun. I got to seduce a hot Republic soldier.

The subsequent follow up make out on Coruscant was nice as well.

I still wish they had Thana Vesh as a recruitable member.... but then again the bitch will probably question every damn thing i do. Would be kinda tsundere if i didnt know for a fact that she would shiv my back the first time i turn my back on her, still she's kinda hot when angry.

EDIT: i do find it kinda annoying that they require you to set up a subscription just to play a free month....

Pisses me off too, but it seems to be standard MMO practice. It's been that way for every one of the 5 or so MMOs I've tried (not counting Guild Wars for obvious reasons).
