Well, since the opposite of a god is a demon, he's going to...do the opposite of capturing them? Drive them all away and make them hate him by picking the wrongest 'paths'?

Or is he just going to use completely immoral tricks even more to make these girls fall in love with him and then discard them?
And suddenly, the cover featuring what looks like angry Keima makes a lot more sense.

You know, I think that's going to be difficult for him. After all, I do recall him being there with Tenri when the Old Devils got loose to begin with. I doubt he's even considered the possibility that his talent for getting girls could be from him holding a Goddess himself. Then again, that's just some wild guessing.

Oh, I don't know...

<a href='http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/1961/mtwgok8818rh.jpg' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Keima actually captured himself at one point</a>, if you recall.

(Okay, I don't actually think it'll end up like that, but it'd be pretty funny if it did.)

I'm thinking it's a toss up between Tsukiyomi and Yui. The criteria is that they're near him and love him, Yui IMHO at least really have too much of a relationship with with Keima during most of her story though her dressing as a guy makes it seem as though she remembers, Tsukiyomi also shows signs of remembering and had a more lovy-dovy ending and story though doesn't seem to hang aroud Keima too much, though it could be possible that she could be a voire/stalker and get love power from watching him though her telescope.

Funny though, Yui was a goddess but the body switch made the goddess go inside Keima.

For the demon thing I'm guessing he's just going to go for the something thtat gets the most reaction out of the girls rather than love or charm points to see their reaction and judge if they have a goddess.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Keima finds three goddesses out of the girls and can't figure out where he went wrong in his theory with the last one for a while before the last is revealed to be inside him.

I'm wondering if for laughs they'll have Chihiro be the one without a goddess. She is the normal girl after all and normal people don't end up with celestrial beings living inside of them.

I think demon mode is related to using unsavory or perverted methods to gain reactions from girls, the oppisite of what he normally does. Consider what he just accidently did a moment before coming up with the idea.

Eh, my thought is that his success was more attributed to him having a Goddess in him from the very beginning. Just as Keima said, he is the only one who has drawn out the Runaway Spirits with the Power of Love. And he was also present when Tenri witnessed Pandora's Box opening. So the Goddessess could have quickly latched onto the nearest people they could.

Here's a metajoke I just noticed.

In the pilot Keima sais he's captured 100,000 heroines.

In chapter one he sais he's captured 1,000 heroines.

And in episode one which I'm watching right now he sais he's captured 10,000.

So yeah the joke is only something you would get if you saw all the TWGOK media.

Tsukiyo seems to remember Keima in on of the toukoban chapter 46.5.

Teacher also remembers a kiss.

Maybe the recent rejections aren't as solid as they seem...

(note: this my just be me reaching and hoping for cool out of left field picks. Like Yui. She was one of my favored ones, but it is really, really likely not her.)

New Chapter! Keima discovers a flaw in the plan. I'm still kinda wondering how the demon thing will work with this, unless he's planning to have them all confront each other on his confessions. Also curious how he'll handle Tsukiyomi.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about 122. Spoilers for 123 wouldn't be out till sometime around Saturday.

Chapter was fun even if it still got nowhere closer to revealing a godess. Considering that its still only day 2 of the operation I'm starting to think it may be quite afew more chapters before we see any goddesses.

On the other hand, Keima's line about possibly needing to get all 5 girls to be in love with him was hiliarous. Long live demon mode which is starting to look more like the harem route!

Harem routes often end badly (not the least of which involves the Protag two-timing everyone) and I fear for Keima's safety.

For example:

Nice Boat.

At least Kanon's over her electro-shock issues...

Or is she?

Actually, pretty much all of those girls have beat up Keima...

Be strong, Keima.

Just watched episode 7. I really like the anime so far, it's proven to be a real expansion to the manga rather than just a boring transcription.

But then they couldn't try to push Kanon's VA (who is, in true Macross style, totally new) as an actual idol.

I totally agree though, I skipped most of the ending trying to find conversation instead of singing.

Looks like Hakua is in the lead. Followed Shiori, Chihiro, Mio, and Kanon.

Episode 8 is a definite filler episode, cause I don't remember a chapter like this. Elsie is trying to impress Keima with her cooking, unleashes a dragon, and tries making a cake. She even has a musical number while attempting the Sword and the Stone Merlin approach to cooking.
