Yes.

This looks like it could be the best Thor movie so far, which wouldn't be that hard a bar to reach.

The second film is widely considered one of the worst Marvel movies, and the first has pretty much the same status among the first solo film origin story movies.

Neither was a bad movie, none of the Marvel movies are. It's just comparatively the Thor movies haven't quite been up to the same standards as the others and are pretty much in the same boat as the Iron Man sequels. Loki didn't really shine as a villain until Avengers to be honest, though he was one of the highlights of the first Thor movie.

Weirdly, the better movies have come from less popular characters in the comics prior to the movies. Captain America and Iron Man were pretty much B-list books, and just kind of had to be there for the Avengers. Guardians of the Galaxy is another good example of this, as it was completely obscure prior to the movie.

That looks absolutely ludicrous, but also so very funny. I just hope that it can live up to that trailer.

So, basically a Rocky movie.

I'll be a bit disappointed if they don't own up to it and use "Gonna fly Now" at some point in the movie.

Lots of Rocky throwbacks, especially the race on the beach and the talk about fear. I hated Cars 2 and was going to avoid this until my nephew forces me to watch but this actually looks good.
