Current programs... well Chuck. Anyone else watching it? It's not great, but with nothing great really coming out it's a worth watching.

You know, as excited as I was about the new season, I haven't watched it. I have all the current eps on my computer, but still no glances. Apparently Sarah's been more of a b then usual this season.

Sh isn't that bad and she has good reason to be... well initially. I still like it, it's always been good, not great, just good. Something to watch inbetween, or when there's nothing else on.

A good series which I'm actually getting into is Caprica. I'm liking the Taurons and their culture. The series is set in a way that in the future, 50 years or more, that could be us. I like watching these kinds of shows, where they give you something to think about good and bad moments.

I've just begun watching Farscape, yes I know how old it is but its GOOD.
I did that a couple months ago, just downloaded all the seasons of Farscape, had never watched it before. Good show, right?

Did the same thing with Babylon 5, I haven't started watching it yet though. There's just so much of it, I've downloaded it all, all the seasons, movies, side series... might start in the summer.

Babylon 5 has its moments.

Not sure how I rate it compared to DS9, as both had some truly awesome moments and many lulz in various episodes.

But the last season was rushed and it's a shame that they cancelled Crusade so early.

Still, it's better than Voyager.

Disclaim-me-do: Some people find intestinal parasites to be better than Voyager.

Does anyone here know whether the Sarah Conner Chronicles or West Wing is worth getting?

Sarah Connor Chronicles is okay but it's not getting an end, so it's a bit of a bugger to watch.

Yeah Sarah Connor got cancelled. It's kind of a shame, but the networks were going to revive either Chuck or SC, they are both average 5/10 shows but I'm kind glad it was Chuck.

No idea, never seen it
First season was excellent, haven't gotten to see much of season 2 though. What I did see of it was fun

yeah its fun a lot of 80's reference throughout the series, the story gets serious at times though its mainly a comedy.

Psych is amazing; I haven't had the opportunity to stay kept up with season four, but I will be buying it the moment it comes out. ^_^ One of my favorite tv shows, it is (along with House md, X-Files, and Monk).

(and at the moment, I'm hooked on Dexter)

I like the show Justified on FX. The protagonist Raylen Givens (played by Timothy Olyphant) isn't wildly optimistic and a paragon of justice (ala Walker, Texas Ranger), but he does have a certain panache in his approach and personality that I find works very well with the style and theme of the show. It's not quite the "updated Old West" sort of show, but it has elements of tension/drama, action, and humor set at an appropriate pacing that keeps the show moving without dulling the purpose or losing sight of the goal. Admittedly you need to watch most every episode to understand the full scope of the overall plot, but each episode can be watched independent and still be well worth it.

Over the past couple of days, I've a marathon of The Pacific and finished off the last few episodes of The Wire.

Both excellent endings.

Also, I started watching Treme, not my usual thing, but it's good. Worth a butcher's if you like jazz music and HBO shows.

Over the weekend, I was able to catch the last two episodes of Top Chef Masters.

I can't say I was happy with the outcome, but this season was still very interesting.

Just watched the new 2010 adaptation of Sherlock Holmes.

Worth 90 minutes of your time, more so if you enjoyed House (which was in part based upon Sherlock Holmes in the first place).

I just saw it too, and was coming here to post the same thing. That was a fantastic use of my time. Shame there's only three episodes.
