The reboot got scrapped and with good reason. After an epic two-part opening and three episodes that followed, the characters somehow each took a lesson from the book of being an arrogant one-direction douche; ultimately, the negative dynamism became extremely annoying and established impressions started getting torn down.
They had the chance to turn it into an animated Lord of the Rings with anthropomorphic cats and other sorts of animals. Instead what we got was a cartoon trying to be an anime. I got really bummed after that.
THE PROMISE. It was SO MUCH. Kind of felt like Naruto all over again.
