I'm currently reading Golden Boy. A humorous story that I greatly enjoy, but unfortunately I've only been able to find the first 3 volumes. Anyone know where the others are?

Cool. I didn't know they had started translating it again. I'll make sure to read the new chapter. Thanks.

Well, read up to Air Gear 161 and Bleach 286. I have to say, both are still pretty good. Granted, Air Gear is kind of an... well it isn't a great series by say Black Lagoon standards or Claymore standards. :p But I enjoy it enough, and it is still entertaining. Bleach? Still good IMO. Fights are a bit dragging granted. But compared to Naruto... <_<

Just started reading Claymore, Basilisk, and Death Note. The first two are awesome, but Death Note bored me quite frankly. I doubt I'll keep reading it.

Well, read 76 and 77 of Elfen Lied last night.

I had issues for quite some time attempting to get 76. Finally was able to get it last night on my 3rd attempt yesterday, and 6th attempt overall.

Man, what a cliffhanger, I *really* hope that was not Mayu, and was Bando.

I just finished Basilisk. Shit, that was a sad ending. I was hoping for a happy ending after the last two were left, but I guess that wouldn't have fit the tone of the story.

Anybody know of any good fics in that fandom?

Anyone read Gunsmith Cats? I understand some of the dialogue has been censored for publication in the US, but it looks fun. I have read the first two large volumes; I think they're double-sized, because the two volumes cover 34 chapters.

I know there's an anime for this series, but this is the manga thread.

Been reading Combat Butler Hayate recently, tis good, quite a few pop culture references.

Been reading Soul Eater as well, which is interesting to say the least, not sure if anyone has read it here, but it of the similar vein as Bleach, but has more ecchi and comedy. The characters are very well made, and even though they are exaggerated. The art style is crazy, and very cartoony but fits the characters well.

Need to get caught up on Bleach haven't read it in sooo long.

Oh, and sorry for the necro.

That isn't a necro, yours was only for a few days old. Like this one is.

Let's see, F1 showed the link towards the Persona 3 manga (or a chapter of it released that is) and I'm intrested from it a bit from the 'start' so to speak.

Oh, yes for those who are asking.

StarryHeaven Blog and the StarryHeaven Website (ye gods my eyes!)

That's where the manga is (and being translated by) for your information.

However, it seems like there's only about one nitpick about it from me and that was Arisato (the main character) was apparently given a knife, while in the game, he was given a sword. I guess that's acceptable as normally, unless you had the training for it, you probably wouldn't use a sword and I don't exactly recall of Arisato actually knowing how to use a sword via plot device. Also a knife is easier to carry and such.

Now, without the game system, thus making it 'real time' as it were, I guess it's plausible for Arisato's -by the way, is that really his official name? just making sure- Persona to get stabbed. I recall him (in the game movie) summoning it, but never getting stabbed. I suppose that it's more better than just to have him clutch his head for no reason and the plot device appears. Least it gives him a reason in a sense.

It's his name in the manga. While he isn't given an name, (like the Suikoden mains) that's about as close to an 'official' name that he has.

And also, in talk of Persona 3 manga:

For anybody who has played the game, these should be suitable hilarious. ^^

Another forumite here told me about Sekirei, and having read all the chapters I could find over the last week, I'm really enjoying it.

That said, the last scanlated chapter I can find online is chapter 40, which is apparently the first chapter in the fifth tankobon. Does anyone know if there's more scanlations out there somewhere that I'm missing, or is that just all that anyone's done so far?

Thanks!

Today, since I'm STILL unable to play any games, I decided to begin to read Eyeshield21.

I'm at chapter 161 of the manga at the moment. Who knew that a football manga could be interesting? :huh.:
