What (manga) are you reading?

D.Gray-Man (The Crown Clown is badass.)
Fairy Tail (Amusing with some action on the side.)
Blue Dragon Ral-Grad Finished (I've been thinking of a Naruto x-over.)
Hitomi no Catoblepas (The eye is cool.)

I've been thinking about starting in on Gantz and Claymore.
Some old series I'm getting the latest chapters for are Berserk and FMA. I realized I was almost ten chapters behind. :sweat2:

Read Black Lagoon Manga, volumn 2 omake.

Revi as a sailor suited magical girl for love and justice, saving people with her feminine charms, and guns.

I'm uncertain what to make of it.

I'm keeping up on the most recent Negima chapters and enjoying every moment of it, the magic world is really quite cool and interesting. The balence of the characters is just so well done for such a huge cast. My current fave.

Other news would be reading more of the odd Mystery girlfriend X, I like but I can't really say exactly why. It's just quirky and strange and I like it I guess heh.

after windfalcon mentioning Sekirei in the love hina ideas thread I read what I could find of that one. It's a quality ecchi harem story. I hope I get to see more of it soon enough.

Read the first 11 chapters of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, but I can't seem to find the rest of it...

Recently found Code Geass Manga, with three different titles.

- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
- Code Geass: Suzaku of the Counterattack
- Code Geass: Knightmare of Nunnally

Which the scanlations can be found at http://lulu-rebellion.org/.

But I like Knightmare of Nunnally best, Nunnally and Zero rocks. :jawdrop: :hail:

Manga I'm currently reading... that's a bit hard. Two of the series I'm reading are manwa (korean manga), Rebirth and id_Entity. The first is a dark vampire graphic novel with some great fanservice moments (not to mention a super-cool cast of characters) and the second is a dotHack clone with more combat.

For actual manga, it's Mx0, Bleach and Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

Good stuff, I'll have to check out some of these other series...

Well it seems that Starry Heaven separated with Gekkoukan High Scans and are now rivals with them in translating Persona 3.

Also a mention that they (the former) have the next chapter of Persona 3 (chapter one, volume 1) out 'today'. (although I can't find just where the heck they put the darn thing quite yet and the host sites need to be updated or something) I can't seem to access Gekkoukan High Scans to see if they also have it done.

*sighs*

Oh well, this MAR (Marchen Awakens Romance) manga on Onemanga I'm currently reading is kind of intresting, although the Koyuki and Princess Snow thing is...not exactly my thing here. It was also cute when I realized that their names were from fairy tales and other fantasy style stuff. (Dorothy and Toto from a certain movie I can remember and Jack who wishes to grow a giant beanstalk to reach the heavens as examples)

Went out and bought all six currently released volumes of Black Lagoon, and the Bleach Databook SOULS.

Which contains nearly nothing I didn't already know. Bah.

Well, I just read Highschool of the Dead up to the latest chapter and I gotta say I like it.

It has more than enough badass moments and fanservice to keep me hooked ^_^

Their is something about hot girls in fukus using electric drills to kill zombies while chanting "You little shit, die, die, die, die, die, DIE! " that amuses me to no end. :evil2:

We now have the dragonaut manga.

This tyime around Jin is already a member of the dragonauts. Obsessed with revenge against the dragons but as we know from the anime, Toa was the one responsible. I'm just waiting for the manga to get to that part.

Did I mention Tokyo is a wasteland and that Jin is morer Kazuki like. Weird

Hmm. Besides catching up on series like Bleach and Air Gear...

I also read 1-60 chapters of Berserk.

Hardcore series. Has an amazing story though (unlike Tenjho Tenge), but at the same time, wow, what a fucked up world Berserk universe is.

Oh, and caught up on the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. Looks like the end is near.

Hope for a semi-happy ending. Although a part of me wouldn't mind a semi-tragic ending either (heheh. Too much fluff, no good. All good guys somehow live... not good either. :p).

Started reading Cannon god Exxaxion a year or 2 ago, but the series got progressively worse. Not to mention the lame author-avatar scientist-gramps (who reminded me of Ed Greenwood's self insert Elminster). Gunsmith cats wasn't THAT bad, in comparison. The new serializations titled "Wolf and Spice","Psyren", and "Kurenai" caught my eye recently. Despite being bracketed in the shonen genre, they show a lot of promise.

I re-read the latest chaps of Prince of Tennis... and then I wished I never had. At least they got rid of that annoying teacher in "High School of the Dead", and I hope the mangaka won't rely on fanservice to draw readers. Like "Wolf and Spice", the HSotD mangaka used to come from the doujin circles, so I was glad they finally came back to the mainstream.

Its just too bad nobody seems interested in scanlating "Kattenni Kaizo" and "Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei". Or "My name is Zushio" and "Seto no Hanayome". I feel that the world needs comedy now more than ever.

I just hope they won't botch Hitsugaya's character in the new Bleach Movie.

Can anybody tell me of any more good series with cat/fox/dog girls? Recently got addicted to them. :snigger:

Gantz has been my latest addiction. Although I can't help but notice how one of the characters looks a lot like the lovable Kisuke of Bleach.

Negima20 seems to be taking forever to get translated into mandarin... <_<

You mean Negima Book 20? Where do you stay runestar? My place, Negima (mandarin) is at Book 23 (ending at Chapter 194).

Singapore.

For some weird reason, the books seem to be taking longer and longer to be released. Kinokuniya only has book20 of the jap version and up to book19 of the mandarin version. I am wondering if there is some problem with the licensing or censorship that is holding things up. :huh.:

Well, you might as well go to manga helpers or AQS to get your Negima fix, though they are in English. Btw, book 23's last chapter is 195 and not 194, my bad. Sadly Malaysian Negima (Mandarin) is somewhat censored, which makes me want to get the original but sadly here in Penang the Kinokuniya has closed down more than 7 years I think making me unable to purchase the Japanese ones.

Well, I have heard of some interesting events occurring in later chapters of Negima (like tentacle sex or robot orgasms?!? ), so I am curious to see if those will make it uncut (or at least, relatively uncut).

They did leave the scene where Nekomimi nude bar was written on the board (though it was so small that it was literally blink and miss).

Well, back to waiting. Come to think of it, I haven't touched Book10 and 11 of XXXholic...though I find I am losing interest in the series...

...

Let's see, I've been on-and-off with Naruto and Bleach (I know what has happened, but there's a big hole in the middle of each series which I haven't gotten around to reading yet).

Have been reading Full Metal Alchemist (man, the manga and anime have diverged so much it's crazy). I'm really interested to see how this works out...

Just finished 666 Satan. It's pretty damn good, though I'm not sure quite how to feel about the ending. It's definitely an interesting way to end things, though I would have loved to learn a bit more of the backstory behind some parts of the 666 Satan universe.

I was reading the Korean series "King of Hell", but the guy I've been going to for volumes of it moved away some time ago, so unless I find some scanlations for it, I'm going to have to buy them (and I really don't want to have the buy them).

I've been slowly reading (and watching the anime rendition of) Black Lagoon. I'm not even going to try and define how much this series rules (anyone who reads/watches it knows how damn awesome it is, and anyone who hasn't... well... Here's a scanlation).

I was reading the Evangelion manga, but I just haven't felt like continuing from where I left off.

There are several other series I sometimes read bits and pieces of (mostly shoujo series), but I'll just leave my list at that.

lets see... there was tentacles, but it was stripping not sex (still poor chisame). You are correct on the robotic orgasm, which is put in a more humorous light since negi doesn't make the connection (hilarious scene). If they do make it in those book will definately be plastic wrapped with a big warning sticker on them.

the chapters following those scenes though are much heavier on action, comedy and drama with far less fanservice (save fore some maid outfits).

Hot damn, Sekirei 41 and 42 have been translated. Hooray for progress.

Edit: 43 and 44 are also translated and posted, that makes me happy.

Edit yet again: 45, 46 and 47 as well. Seems that the translation group saved up releases for a number of series that they were working on for christmas releases.
