No no no. Yaoi fangirls are not that sort of creature.

You see, the big reason why they prefer the male-male couplings in fanfiction, regardless of whether the males in question would ever couple with their "pairing partner" or whatever they call it, is thus:

Fangirls of that sort do not sexually reproduce, nor are they capable of doing so. They are asexual organisms that reproduce parthenogenetically, spawning dozens of near-identical fanblobs every month. Thus, the idea of sexual reproduction - which introduces what is, to them, an uncomfortable level of genetic diversity - is abhorrent to the fanblob, and so, to get the attention they crave for their pseudo-creative efforts, they settle for writing unusual homosexual pairings.

So, it's really less like an orgy, but more like an overactive (and very annoying) germ culture.

These bolded amounts of reviews are annoying, sure, but insignificant. There are stories on FFnet with thousands of reviews, literally. In fact, I know of a Naruto C2 that is dedicated solely to stories with a thousand or more reviews; that's the only qualifier to get in.

That one is very bad.

The way I see it though, anything goes in fiction. It might not be pleasant, or even readable though.

As an author who likes to disturb his readers, I am seriously wondering if I can think up something more disturbing than that though. If something is worth doing, its worth overdoing to the point you laugh and puke at the same time.
