...*sigh* In the context of everything they have gone through to keep their relationship, that really makes no god damn sense. If she truly didn't care about him; then Keiichi would have died as far back as the World Destruction Program arc. In context, she didn't bring it up because it would bring conflict to her relationship with him. She would rather fix it, as SHE JUST DID, and leave the matter at that. Hell, even in that chapter, her decision to defy the laws of her people for the sake of the fix also makes that idea seem really stupid.
EDIT: Yes, and that is why she never brings it up. Even early on, he had already made the wish to have her by his side forever which he had been told was going to be enforced by a power that could override the gods.
