I think the thing to consider about the genderbend is that the character emphasis (for a lack of better words) differs quite a bit. It's not Haruki who gets attention, rather, it is Kyonko, probably more because her design makes her into this tsundere (or rather, darudere) moe character.

And compared to the GAR-ish Haruki, Kyonko is just that much more interesting, I believe. It could just be me, since I've been clearly losing what's left of my sanity in the last few days.

As well, genderbend does mean that for those moments Itsuki leans too close or has some sort of implication on Kyon, it's not as disturbing. Rather, with the genderbend, it's actually kinda hot :lol:

Yuri's not really my thing. At least not compared to hetero.

To say I prefer Kyon over Kyonko is like saying I like pies over cake. When all is said and done, I'd rather have both.

But...what's the point if Itsuki leaning over Kyon isn't disturbing? That's, like, a fundamental part of Itsuki's character...the always smiling, secretive, and mildly disturbing guy who makes you wonder about his actual sexuality, thus alternatively amusing you or creeping you out...or possibly both at once. And...I just like Kyon, bitterly putting up with the shit that God (Y HALO THAR HARUHI) keeps piling on top of him, complete with wonderfully sarcastic monologue. I mean...I like the cast of 'The Melancholoy of Haruhi Suzumiya' just the way they are, really. :mellow:

Still...to each their own, I suppose. Though...I can't help but wonder if we'll be seeing any non genderbent pictures for those of us who aren't currently infatuated with 'Kyonko' or 'Kyoli'....

Give in to the Dark Side.

While I agree with Luthorne (gender-bending the cast takes away the amusement factor in that Haruhi is the go-getter of the group), I'm always up for pics that make me smile.

Like Nugar's, for example. That reminds me, why are those Hentai pics not in the Lemon section yet?

Kyoli is the named used for Kyon when he wakes up as a loli and pretty much pursued (and molested for being too adorable) by the entire school. He gets better eventually, but the name resurfaces when the stork delivers his daughter.
