You'd have to have seen the anime Simoun. It's flying lesbians in that funny looking aircraft in the first and third panels. They draw these eldritch sigils in the sky that glow and then make shit happen.

Usually makes a given area of the sky or ground explode, but some have other effects.

Remember the giant cave cricket episode? Where Haruhi drew the SOS logo, which apparently contained some ridiculous fuckton of information? And as a side effect of all that information on the internet, the computer club president's apartment became closed space with a giant cave cricket data entity in it?

Yeah, the joke is that Haruhi used at Simoun to draw the logo in the sky, and as a result it created the big ass cave cricket. Because, in Simoun, it kinda almost sorta makes sense.

I liked Simoun. Very underappreciated anime.


Also, no I didn't know that those pics were in the funny anime pictures thread. I don't follow that one because I tend to forget it's there. Mostly, I'm only in this one, funny naruto pics, and my own story threads.

Is it just me, or do they look like Asuka (Mikuru), Shinji (Kyon), Rei (Yuki) and Kaoru (Itsuki) from Evangelion?

Yes. At the very least, Yuki is a Rei clone.

Rei means cold, Yuki means snow. Nagato and Ayanami are the names of war-ships that served in World War II.

...y'mean the Yu-Gi-Oh one? I believe they used a photograph someone else did for the background (specifically, this guy), used pictures of some of the dolls from here, and then created their own edited Yu-Gi-Oh cards (which can be seen here), and then edited them all together pretty well. :mellow:
