Bleach Bleach movie 4

The plot of the movie states that if goes Ichigo hollow it's game over. Apparently his new form is a way to power up without triggering the endgame scenario.

Well the movie lied because apparently Renji oneshots him out of it from what's being said. :p

Though we'll just have to wait and see. Suffice to say it's not looking good as it stands though.

Chinese raw is out and streaming if you guys are up for it. Subs are slowly on their way as of yet. Not impressed by the Pat fight at the start, but it is better than the canon one, if just more beam fests. Considering the canon one is atrocious though this doesn't say much.

Some of this hell stuff is pretty neat though. I get why they need Ichigo to break the chains for them now for one thing, and the reveal was pretty slick in itself, though Ichigo was getting his ass kicked in bankai for it by the mookiest of the mooks. :p

Got to the bit with Renji. Yeah, he cut off the horn, while half dead and sealed. Which is hilarious. But then...

He uses some kind of super kido to knock him out of it. Ignoring for a second that he does exactly what Pat did to knock him out of it in the first place (I don't know, maybe the no hollows rule would have made that not an option) why the flying hell is Renji able to use a super kido like that? Maybe it's a failsafe they gave him in case exactly this happened or something, tatoos seem to show up on him when he uses it, but Renji is explicitly stated to suck at Kido. The flying hell? Subs better explain this.

Oh yeah, and super form. Even with the golden glow it is the second stupidest looking form Ichigo's been in, topped only by the utter lameness of his full bring.

Decent sub is now out on Youtube. Grab it while it's not deleted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...6GxzXv-Rk&gl=GB

You can actually post more than 10 or so minutes at a time. You have to have a special account for that kind of stuff though. I've seen 2 hour stuffs on Youtube before, you have to get in the more nit and gritty stuff though.

Edit: Huh, wasn't a super kido to turn Ichigo back, he did that already by cutting the horn. It was a super kido to eject someone from hell. Again though, why the flying hell does Renji have it?

I've seen fifteen minutes, and that's about as much as seems to be safe.

Right, so done. Movie was okay, better than 1 and 3 by miles, two overall was more enjoyable though. I think this movie was going for a One Piece Movie 6 feel and failed miserably. Had they condensed all the deaths and stuff to the end during the climax, and not done that utter stupidity with LOLREVIVING Yuzu for no adequately explained reason, it likely would have worked better. And frankly with a premise like going to hell, trying to replicate the OH GOD WHY of OP Movie 6 would have been amazing.

Plus getting smashed by a hand and getting a super form from it doesn't even remotely have the same impact nor despair behind it as... well...

Yeah, so One Piece has what would have made for a better 'hell' movie. Who knew.

Ichigo's power fluctuated a lot, LOL Half Dead Sealed Renji cutting off Ichinator's horn to knock him out of the form and using a super kido to send him back home, Ichinator's groans were ungodly annoying rather than intimidating for some reason, Ichigo's hell form looks like goddamn ass, and knocking Chad out at the start, heroic as he was in the process, were massive missteps to say the least. Along with this thing having no place in canon, but considering the atrocity of the arrancar arc and the premise they wanted to go with, sad to say it was unavoidable. Doesn't quite deserve to be the financial worst of the lineup, but I could see why it was regardless. 3 However still takes the cake for the worst though, with one following closely behind, and this has a decent lead on those two.

Kokuto however was interesting and his using the chains was pretty freaking clever. He could have whined about his sister a little less, but his betrayal made up for it. Though since this is the second time he's pulled the betrayal card, Kubo doesn't get to use it anymore. Ishida, Rukia, and Renji all got pretty good fights, and other than Rukia they got to use something new at least. Rukia's however was a goddamn rehash though, practically her fight with #9 only she didn't use her combo kido, which was probably the most interesting part. >>

And Ichigo's fight with the fire guy was almost interesting when he started blitzing past all his fire arrows, though the whole running slowly with his sword over his head was stupid. Overall decent however, it just could have been much better with better plotting and a new form that didn't try to contend with his fullbring for its utter lameness. Order is now 2-4-1-3 in terms of best to worst for these movies.

I have agree with Omega about the quality of the movies. This one was decent, but by far, 2 was better. The fight scenes were decent in this movie, and as always, Ichigo's power level fluctuated like nuts. The thing with Yuzu was weird, but w/e.

The first place in hell actually reminded me a bit of Ichigo's inner-world. Did anyone else get that vibe?

The thing that bothered me the most was that the 4th movie supposedly takes place after Ichigo defeats Aizen. Though ironically, he still has his shinigami powers.

Excusing that fact, the fact that he ends up jobbing so hard in this movie is a 'what the FUCK HERO?!' moment ad nauseum. He should've pretty much slaughtered everybody without giving a fuck, but ultimately has to get "hell's will" powers to actually do anything.

The animation was great, the movie as a story was otherwise lame.

All I know is that even Kubo didn't like this film for the most part. Honestly, I would have thought that he would have been able to properly get involved with writing a good scenario that deals with the Hell portion of the Bleach verse.

This probably could have made for a good story. It's too bad things got shuffled around the way they did.

At the very least, it revealed interesting cosmological details. I wonder what would happen if someone in Hueco Mundo reached the same sort of epiphany about attachment and the fear of loss and rejection that Ichigo had about hatred and revenge in Hell.
