So apparently there is some big hype about the 15th Anniversary of Digimon Adventure, and a special showing of the "Bokura no War Game" movie has been announced.
Also new merchandise tie ins for the anniversary.

With this amount of attention of course people have begun speculating about a new series.

The fifth Bancho is going to be revealed tomorrow.
Apparently someone has been manipulating the D Brigade (Commandramon and his evolved forms) in their conflict with the Bancho's.
The wording is a little iffy on the promo though. Either it was the Fifth Bancho doing so, or he (or she) is going to show up as they were all challenged to battle, and someone else is pulling the strings.
Admittedly it might make sense for a "Rival Gang Leader" to be the last of the Bancho's, given the theme they are sticking to.
Their battlefield will be Infinity Mountain on File Island from the Devimon Arc of Adventure and the first Digimon World game.
Keep an eye out for more news!
Edit: and it looks like the new Bancho is either Gotsumon or Volcamon.
And Yggdrasil 7D6 is the "boss" of this event.
Really the D Brigade needs more members to fill in it's roster of "Cyborg Dragon Military" and this just feels like a waste of an opportunity if you ask me.

DIGIMON ADVENTURE 03 COMING SPRING 2015!
Apparently a 17 year old Taichi is being billed as the "main character" but it will include "all" the Digidestined in the world.

I for one think it is a bold decision that the "original" leader of the series is being returned to as the main character, and that since we know of the "distant" ending from Adventure 02 it should be interesting to see how they handle that.
In that "distant future" humans and Digimon have completely integrated with one another so I for one want to see just how that happened.
Also I think that some plot points from the previous series (Dagomon and the Dark Ocean, Demon) will be revisited.
True, but the whole "Taichi being touted as the main character" thing is going to be very interesting as well.
We know he and Agumon end up as politicians down the line, and given the fact that "all" of the Digidestined are going to be involved seeing them interact with the International Teams and grow into that role will be damned fascinating to see.

It's gonna be hilarious seeing the shipperes reaction to the pairings, especially if they make it plausible for the characters. There is nothing funnier (or more infuriating) than listening to a shipper complain about a canon pairing that wasn't theirs and listing why their pairing is much better than the writers.

At the time we are a little under 55800 clicks away from from getting our first real glimpse at info on the new series.
At least I hope so, because if we have to keep clicking to "raise" the Digimon that hatches before we get anything I and many others will be pissed.
