There was a fic I read a long time ago. It was a kind of mega-crossover where Ranma and Nabiki got transported somewhere else, and came back married with magical powers and Ranma having a reputation as "the Kami of women".

This is NOT "No Need for Destiny", that's a similar story.

That story is as far as know on Archive of our own (1 chapter only), FicWad, MediaMiner.ORG, Anime Adventure, and the authors own old website.

As far as I know, the author web site is the most complete version. It also has 'The Travelers Journey's', which is a sort of prequel/spinoff/alternate.

Never heard of it. What's it about, and is it actually worth reading? 'Cause a lot of the stories asked for here are not.

EDIT: Wow, Google only had one hit putting the author's name and the story title as the search information. Someone on Fukufics named "Makoto" had it archived over five years ago...as for whether they have it archived now, I have no clue. Dumbledork asked for a copy, so he may have it.

Not a fan of Naruto... at all. But, the only Ranma/Naruto crossover I ever liked was so derided by people reading it they convinced the author to remove it. That was around 9-10 years ago.

I've said this a couple times before both here and on fukufics to people.

You need to take into account FF.NET did not always have the crossover tags they do now... so merely looking in the crossover category section does not guarantee you a list of all stories of that crossover that exist on the site.

This is especially true of the older categories, to which both Ranma and Robotech/Macross qualify as such.

Be aware, there was a sequel to RDF Life called 'RDF II', that was removed by weebee. There is still the sequel called 'RDF Life, the Tiger Chronicles'. The latter is not listed as it is in the section you linked.

I almost never bother with the FF.NET search for category searches... I would miss out on way too many stories that way.

You cannot really fault FF.NET on this, in many of the cases it is that the author had been off site for considerably longer than when the category tags came to existence.

The same thing will happen in years to come I'm sure when people try searching on actual matches and don't see them all... between people not using tem right, and the fact true matchups did not exist until somewhat recently.

Thus why I listed RDF Life, but not the RDF Life Tiger Chronicles. You already had it from the other link.

The Gamer is too new and this fandom too old, to likely get any such cross, much less 'good'. I'd say if you wish to see it, put pen to paper and write it. You could hardly do worse than many before you.

There's one in particular I recall, probably the most 90s Ranma fanfic in existence but I can't find it, my old computer with the fic saved had died years ago and I'm not sure if it still exists.

I don't know the name but I do know a bit of the plot, it was super crossover, it had such classics as Tenchi and Sailor moon, some DBZ in there, with sprinkles of others nineties anime both popular and obscure. The main plot escapes me at this point, but I recall ranma having been sent to the future for something, then sent back after helping the DBZ crew offscreen. He meets Yosho and both are sent back in time which crosses over with several old anime, most notably a very obscure cooking anime that has super chefs making food with meteor ore utensils.

I really want to reread this again, if only for nostalgia. does anyone know the name or have a link?

Some old classics are still well written, at least to me.
'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever' and 'Process of Elimination' both come to mind. 'White Rose' and 'Careful Destiny' as well.

I'm trying to find a fic, but all I can remember is basically a bit of one scene. Ranma gets into a fight with some really powerful being(s), maybe a god or gods at the Tendo home. It may be that the fight escalated and got more gods/being involved in the fight. I remember that one of Ranma's foes regretted that the fight was happening - I think she was trying to help him maybe in some way. I also remember Cologne being in the area and sensing the power involved in the fight or something and making sure to stay away from it.

That's about all I can remember of it. I'd sure appreciate it if someone might have an idea of what the hell I've been trying to find.

Actually sounds to me like a part of the 'Ah My Fiancee' branch off of the 'Ranma's Wish' episode tree over at the Addventure. Ranma gets a wish, bungles it, gods shove divine fiancee at him and it ends up with Eilistraee turning Tatewake female to engage to Ranma and that starts a divine level brawl (thanks to Eili having power limiters). The Norns get involved and turns out Eilistraee was being manipulated by Lloth... Most interesting result of those episodes was Ranma ending up in Lawndale going to school with Daria and Jane.
