Besides this is a Dr. Ranma trained and raised by House.

If anyone could get away with legitimately recommending nookie as a prescription cure, then he could.

#52
Didn't House actually recommend just that to one of his patients once?

Well, I bet he was a lot more wittier about it.

And besides, those flying turtles, etc., all follow a logic. The intelligent flying turtles act like intelligent turtles that fly, the projectile sword attacks fly from swords and cause pain, and yadda yadda magic.

Doctor recommending sex != magic.

Wrong! Doctor's will recomend sex, they won't prescribe it, but one of them recomended it to my older brother.

That's not even getting into if they have any psyche training.

Hold on, I just had a thought.

What if the majority of doctors are really sex-crazed deviants? I mean, really sex-crazed deviants, and not really clumsy or anything like in manga?

And I'm the weird one, because all the doctors I've ever gone to have been the one that aren't!

Here's a new idea for you that came about a need for some Motoko based fun.

Here's the basic premise:

What if when Motoko lied to Tsuruko about being engaged to Keitaro, Tsuruko approves because Keitaro had just inherited an obscene amout of wealth.

Of course this is the first any of the others have heard about this and Kitsune smells an opportunity....

There may or may not be Keitaro/Motoko/Kitsune threesome fun. I haven't decided yet.

Here's something that may or may not interest you. It's from the idea I outlined above...

ôSo then, whoÆs this, Motoko-chan?ö

ôAneue, IÆd like you to meet my fiancÚ, Keitaro Urashima. Keitaro, this is my sister, Tsuruko.ö

ôH-hi,ö Keitaro waved nervously.

ôKeitaro Urashima?ö the elder Aoyama asked, a look of thought on her beautiful features.

ôYes, IÆm the landlord and manager of the Hinata Sou,ö the bespectacled young man bowed politely.

The visiting swordswomanÆs flashed with recognition. ôNow I remember why that name is familiar. Well done, Motoko-chan, IÆm impressed that you managed to find yourself such a suitable husband.ö

The residents of the inn looked at Keitaro with the same thought on their minds. ôKeitaro is a suitable husband?ö

ôW-what do you mean, Aneue?ö Motoko asked, hoping that her plan wouldnÆt backfire.

Tsuruko smiled at her sister. ôMotoko-chan, I canÆt believe you havenÆt been keeping up on current affairs. Urashima-san here has recently inherited the estate of his great-uncle Ranma.ö

ôG-great-uncle Ranma?ö Keitaro asked in confusion. He scratched his head in an attempt to jog his memory. ôWas he an old man with long braided hair? He seemed like a nice man.ö

ôYes, that was him,ö the married sister smiled.

ôAnd just what is it that makes this such a good decision?ö Kitsune asked suspiciously. ôI mean, yeah, Keitaro isnÆt ugly or anything and heÆs inherited a few yen from his great-uncle, but I donÆt see why thatÆs such a great thing.ö

ôWhat Motoko-chan has done is help secure the legacy of the Shinmeiryu for future generations. Assuming that youÆre happy with my sister,ö Tsuruko added cautiously.

ôIÆm very happy with Motoko-chan,ö the landlord replied, giving his ôfiancÚeö a quick hug.

The elder Shinmeiryu practitioner breathed a sigh of relief. ôIÆm glad to hear that, Urashima-san. I feel somewhat embarrassed that my sister has taken so long to grow out of her man-hating phase and finally find someone with the resources to ensure that our clan of demon hunters will continue for future generations.ö

This piqued KitsuneÆs interest. ôWhat kind of resources are we talking about?ö

ôà Have you heard of Ranma Saotome?ö

ôWait, KeitaroÆs great-uncle Ranma is THE Ranma Saotome?ö the ash-blonde asked in tandem with Motoko.

ôYes, why did you think that I give my blessing to the union?ö asked Tsuruko. ôYou didnÆt think that IÆd let my sister get involved with just anyone, did you?ö

ôBut heÆs a pervert,ö Naru insisted. ôHeÆs always trying to peep on us and grab us!ö

ôThey were accidents!ö Keitaro protested.

The senior swordswoman looked over the residents of the inn. ôWell, from what I gather, his great-uncle also had those sorts of accidents. But enough of that, tell me Motoko-chan, did you agree to the engagement before or after you found out about Urashima-sanÆs family?ö

ôI-I only just found out about it,ö Motoko admitted in a quiet voice.

ôOh. Why did you agree to the engagement? I hope that it wasnÆt a ploy to stop me from taking you back to Kyoto with me,ö the married Aoyama joked.

If memory serves, Tsuruko didn't have any problems with her marrying Keitaro. Her anger came from the fact Motoko lied to her.

edit:

I still like the idea of keitaro being rich and not even noticing it. You would have a hard time explaining his lack of knowledge about his inheritance, and I think you have to sign stuff accepting that. Unless he signed the inheritance thinking it was just another financial statement from his relatives.

Actually, I am betting she knew right from the start, or at least had her suspicions. She just bided her time until they let the cat out of the bag... ;)

She was indeed pissed off at Motoko lying to her. She's pretty canny, thouigh - she caught on before they were outed. She was just giving Motoko (and Keitaro, probably) time to confess, but Mo kept digging herself deeper.

Or so I believe, based on her expressions and actions.

That's my assumption too. I mean, given how they reacted to each other (and the Hinata Sou girls attempt to keep the 'lie' going. I mean, covering up Tsuruko's eyes at the critical moment?), even a blind squrriel could figure out what was going on.

Still, she played along with it, before Motoko pretty much sprung the trap that they made for themselves.

But of course, supposing that it wasn't a lie, would Tsuruko had accepted? Probably. I mean, if their love and the engagement was real, she'd probably have supported it from the beginning. But of course, none of it was true (well, maybe 'love', but it was one sided on Motoko's side, and at the time, she was still in the denial stage anyways).

My only complaint about this is that Naru was in Kyoto for a week on a field trip during this storyline. Interesting thought, otherwise. It'll be interesting to see what methods Kitsune will use to get herself in on this. :snigger:

Oh that's right. I 'forgot' about that. It was one of the reasons why Naru pretty much was NOT in Fallen Blade at the moment (yes, the still one chapter fic. :p). Naru left to Kyoto (conviently since it was also the arc that would bring Keitaro and Motoko to Kyoto) before Tsuruko arrived.

Through anything concerning a threesome is alright with me. :sisi:

You make a valid point.

However this is an AU or something...:huh.:

Who know what other effects of Keitaro being related to Ranma there could be?

- foot-in-mouth disease
- unwilling/unknowing harem lord-itis
- severe cases of "*insert name here* never looses (when it matters)"
- comedic violence exacted on him for no good reason/missunderstandings

many many things could result of Kei being a relative of Ranma :p
tho i wonder how exactly they'd be related ^_^

Hmm, Great-uncle Ranma sounds promising.

Especially when you consider the idea that Eagle Ceres and I have been discussing...

You know, I really wonder what would have happen if Naru rather then taking a trip to Kyoto took it to Mutsumi's home town instead.

Without Naru there Motoko would have been more likely to tell Keitaro how much she appreciated his support rather then holding back because their was another person with them.

Also how would the battle have gone without the Hina Blade possesing Naru.

that's the thing... the Hina blade would have never come to pass unless Kei, feeling like they were at their last, unsheathed it and between Motoko and Tsuruko (or rip off Akamatsu and have Motoko beat itby stunning the posessed Kei with a kiss ;) ) then later you could work off the Motoko - Kei relationship... maybe Tsuruko didnt pass out completely or was only weakened but still awake

Just had another idea, though I don't really know how it would work...

What if the other read Motoko's stories and started to comment on her characterisation and writing style, only to later realise that her heroine was basically an SI/Mary Sue?

It might work as a thinly veiled allegory for writing fanfiction. :p

While the idea is sound, I doubt that more than 15 or so percent of the readers would know what an allegory is, much less recognise the fic as one.

I'd try writing it myself, but then it would end up far too much like the Allegory of the Cave.

hmmm... during the burn up blade... Tsuruko finding Motoko's smut, and interpreting Keitaro for a the heroine's dream man (that is once he got manlier... cause that's what we all know Motoko needs :p)... and realizing that Motoko's SI nature.... :snigger:

tho i would notice it more as art imitating life :p

anyone up for this???

Good news and bad: I've had more ideas :p

(This is where I get branded "Lord of Shotacon Fics" or something similar)

Basically the new premise is: what if Keitaro was 14 or so when he arrived at the Inn?

All the other girls are their canon ages, it's just Keitaro who is a different age.

Keitaro was orphaned at a young age and raised by a wealthy friend of his family. "Ah, Rich and bratty!Keitaro" you're thinking. But no, you see, Keitaro is a voice actor pop idol and tv star.

He's famed for his hearfelt, believable performances and for being down-to-earth for a celebrity.

But anyway, for reasons that escape me at this time, Keitaro needs to find a place to stay and moves in to the inn where Haruka becomes his legal guardian.

All is well until it comes out (probably at the end of the first chapter :p ) that Keitaro is famous.

After that, Haruka is asked by various girls if she can arrange a date with Keitaro, and possibly even an arranged marriage or two ;)

Because of that, I might have to bring in Tsuruko early. She might want Motoko to marry Keitaro - for publicity.

She might also be a fan of Keitaro - Kitsune is, though she doesn't want the others to know as they might think she's weird.

Mutsumi will find herself needing to hug and squeeze Keitaro at every opportunity.

I have a double entendre title already for this one.

The is a variation on this idea - Keitaro is distant royalty. However this idea is rather similar to The Emperor's New Angst and Jusenkyo Man: Imperial Horse.

I like it.

"Poor Keitaro, sent off to live in a strange place. Let big sister Mutsumi... comfort you."

A slight change in plan - what if the roles for Keitaro and Shinobu were swapped?

As in Keitaro is a young person struggling to deal with the breakdown of his parent's marriage and Shinobu has made a promise that she'd make it on her own without the crutch that is her parent's financial support and/or influence.

Here's a small fragment of this idea:

@@@@@

Keitaro Urashima sighed. He was beginning to have second thoughts about the decision heÆd made. After all, it wasnÆt every day that 12 year-olds left home because their parents were going through incredibly messy divorces.

ôBut will Aunt Haruka help me? ItÆs not like sheÆs exactly been supportive to any of us in the Urashima familyàö the bespectacled youth mused sadly.

ôErr, excuse me, could you please step aside?ö

Keitaro turned to see an attractive young woman with long blue-black hair laden down with several heavy looking bags of groceries. ôOh, sorry about that.ö

ôThatÆs ok,ö the woman smiled. She started to walk past him. ôAre you looking for anything in particular?ö

ôYeah, sorry, IÆm looking for the Hinata Teashop. My aunt runs it.ö

ôYouÆre related to Haruka-san?ö

The young Urashima nodded. ôI need to speak with her, itÆs kinda important.ö

ôI see, well, if youÆre willing to help me, then IÆll lead you there. All you have to do is carry some of these bags for me.ö

ôOk,ö Keitaro nodded. ôIÆm Keitaro Urashima, whatÆs your name?ö

ôIÆm Shinobu Maehara,ö Shinobu smiled. ôItÆs a pleasure to meet you.ö

The pair walked slowly and silently up the hill towards the teashop that Haruka Urashima ran. Shinobu didnÆt try to press for information û knew from her own experiences that people often needed to be left alone. She remembered the trouble she had opening up to people when she first arrived in Hinata.

ôHere we are, Keitaro-kun,ö she said with a smile before taking her bags off her new acquaintance. ôHaruka-san! YouÆve got a guest.ö

ôWhat? Oh, hi Shinobu, whoÆs your friendà Keitaro, is that you?ö the smoking woman asked.

ôHi, Aunt Haruka,ö Keitaro waved nervously.

ôAnd what brings you here?ö Haruka asked folding her arms across her chest. ôDo your parents know where you are?ö

ôàö the bespectacled youth looked at the floor.

ôFor crying out loud, I was only joking Keitaro! Now come here and give me a hug,ö the elder Urashima ordered.

Keitaro did as he was told. ôSorry, Aunt Haruka. ItÆs just that things arenÆt going too well at home.ö

ôIÆd heard,ö Haruka deadpanned. ôNow let me have a proper look at youà Well, I donÆt think youÆre going have trouble finding a nice girl in a couple of years.ö

The young man blushed under his auntÆs scrutiny.

ôBut there is one problem that we need to get sorted as soon as possible.ö

ôWhatÆs that?ö Keitaro asked, concern written all over his face.

HarukaÆs face softened into a smile. ôYou should call me æHaruka-sanÆ rather than æAunt HarukaÆ. Got that?ö

ôSorry, Haruka-san. IÆll try to remember from now on.ö

The smoker led her nephew to an empty seat. ôSo then, what brings you here?ö

ôMum and Dad have stopped talking to each other. They had a big row last night, IÆm not sure what it was about, but Mum was a bit drunk,ö Keitaro explained. ôAnd at breakfast this morning, Dad didnÆt seem to acknowledge me. ItÆs just not home anymore, so I decided to leave.ö

ôAnd where are you staying?ö

ôàI was kind of hoping that youÆd help me out by letting me stay at your place.ö

ôI donÆt have the room here, Keitaro,ö Haruka sighed. She winced when she saw the depressed expression on the boyÆs face. ôBut that doesnÆt mean that I canÆt help you. I know a place that has plenty of room, and IÆm even on good terms of the manager.ö

ôIÆd really appreciate that Au- Haruka-san,ö Keitaro said, his face lighting up. ôWhereÆs this place?ö

ôItÆs up the hill. DonÆt you remember visiting here when you were a kid?ö

ôErr I think I remember something. WasnÆt there a girl with blonde-ish hair?ö the youth asked scratching his own, dark brown mess of hair.
